تلقّى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، اتصالاً هاتفيّاً، اليوم، من رئيس دولة فلسطين الرئيس محمود عباس.
وفي بداية الاتصال أعرب الرئيس الفلسطيني عن تقديره البالغ لجهود المملكة ومواقفها المشرفة بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد، التي أسهمت في التزام العديد من الدول بالاعتراف بدولة فلسطين، مقدّراً لقيادة المملكة جهودها الحثيثة في تنسيق المواقف لضمان أكبر تأييد دولي للقضية الفلسطينية خلال مؤتمر نيويورك وعلى مواقفها الثابتة والجهود التي تبذلها للوقوف مع الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته العادلة.
كما جرى خلال الاتصال مناقشة تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة وتداعياتها الأمنية والإنسانية، وقد جدّد ولي العهد، إدانة المملكة للجرائم والممارسات الوحشية ومحاولات التهجير التي ترتكب في حق الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، وعلى ضرورة قيام المجتمع الدولي بإنهاء التداعيات الكارثية لهذا العدوان وحماية المدنيين.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call today from the President of the State of Palestine, President Mahmoud Abbas.
At the beginning of the call, the Palestinian president expressed his deep appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts and its honorable positions, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, which have contributed to the commitment of many countries to recognize the State of Palestine. He valued the Kingdom's leadership for its diligent efforts in coordinating positions to ensure the greatest international support for the Palestinian cause during the New York conference, as well as its steadfast positions and the efforts it exerts to stand with the Palestinian people and their just cause.
During the call, developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian implications were also discussed. The Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation of the crimes and brutal practices and attempts at displacement being committed against the Palestinian brotherly people, emphasizing the necessity for the international community to put an end to the catastrophic repercussions of this aggression and to protect civilians.
