وزير الطاقة يطّلع على آليات عمل «عيادات التمكين» في الرياض

Today, Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz visited the Empowerment Clinics in Riyadh, where he was welcomed by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi.

The Minister of Energy's visit comes as part of enhancing integration between government entities and achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 aimed at empowering individuals and developing society.

During the visit, the Minister of Energy was briefed on the operational mechanisms of the "Empowerment Clinics," listening to a detailed presentation about their developmental roles and effectiveness in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services that contribute to enhancing the readiness of social security beneficiaries to integrate into the labor market and improve their economic and social independence.

The visit witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, aimed at expanding areas of cooperation in qualifying and empowering social security beneficiaries through the development of joint initiatives that contribute to enhancing their employability and increasing their participation in development. A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Ministry of Energy and the Social Development Bank to provide free locations at several fuel stations for permanent sales outlets for productive families (Yamam Café).

At the end of the visit, the Minister of Energy praised the quality efforts implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, emphasizing that these initiatives enhance cooperation between government entities and the private sector, and solidify the integrated developmental path towards achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

He stressed the importance of expanding the impact of these initiatives through quality partnerships in which the energy sector contributes.

For his part, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi confirmed that the cooperation between the two ministries represents an effective model for integration in developmental fields and a driving force for continuing to develop programs and initiatives that aim to improve beneficiaries' opportunities and enhance their economic and community participation.

It is worth noting that the "Empowerment Clinics" are one of the strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, aimed at providing comprehensive assessment, guidance, and rehabilitation services that contribute to achieving economic and social independence for beneficiaries and enabling them to positively integrate into the labor market and society.
