رعى أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، فعاليات اليوم العالمي لمكافحة جرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص لعام 2025، تحت شعار: «الاتجار بالأشخاص جريمة منظمة.. لننهِي الاستغلال».
وشاهد أمير المنطقة عرضًا مرئيًّا توعويًّا تناول أبرز مفاهيم الاتجار بالأشخاص، وصوره، وأبعاده المحلية والدولية، إلى جانب تسليط الضوء على الجهود التي تبذلها المملكة لمكافحة هذه الجريمة، انسجامًا مع التزاماتها الوطنية والدولية في مجال حماية حقوق الإنسان.
كما اطّلع على ركنٍ تعريفي أُقيم بمشاركة عددٍ من الجهات الحكومية، استُعرض من خلاله أبرز التشريعات والإجراءات المعتمدة لرصد حالات الاتجار بالأشخاص والتعامل معها، إضافةً إلى برامج الدعم والحماية المقدّمة للضحايا، والآليات المتبعة في التحقيق والمساءلة.
وتهدف هيئة حقوق الإنسان من خلال هذا التعاون إلى تسليط الضوء على حجم التحديات المرتبطة بجريمة الاتجار بالأشخاص، ورفع مستوى الوعي المجتمعي بها، وتعزيز التنسيق والتكامل بين مختلف الجهات للحد من انتشارها.
The Prince of the Medina region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, sponsored the activities of the World Day Against Human Trafficking for the year 2025, under the slogan: "Human trafficking is an organized crime... Let's end exploitation."
The Prince watched an awareness-raising visual presentation that addressed the key concepts of human trafficking, its forms, and its local and international dimensions, in addition to highlighting the efforts made by the Kingdom to combat this crime, in line with its national and international commitments in the field of human rights protection.
He also reviewed an informational booth established with the participation of several government agencies, which showcased the key legislations and procedures adopted to monitor and address cases of human trafficking, in addition to the support and protection programs provided for victims, and the mechanisms followed in investigation and accountability.
The Human Rights Commission aims, through this cooperation, to highlight the scale of the challenges associated with the crime of human trafficking, raise community awareness about it, and enhance coordination and integration among various entities to reduce its prevalence.
