تواصل بلدية محافظة صبيا أعمالها في مشروع إنشاء جدار الحماية لـ«أبو القعايد»، الذي يمتد على مساحة تقارب 580 مترا، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لدرء أخطار السيول وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات.
وأوضح رئيس بلدية صبيا المهندس محمد حمود نمازي أنه تم حتى الآن تنفيذ أعمال الخرسانة العادية بطول 200 متر، وصب القاعدة بطول 200 متر، إضافة إلى صب القدمة بطول 46 مترا، فيما يجري حاليا استكمال صب الأجزاء المتبقية من المشروع وفق الخطة المعتمدة.
وأكد نمازي أن المشروع يأتي تعزيزاً للبنية التحتية وتحقيقاً لمعايير السلامة، بما يسهم في حماية الأرواح والممتلكات، ورفع كفاءة مجاري الأودية وتصريف مياه الأمطار في المنطقة.
The Municipality of Sabya Governorate continues its work on the construction project of the protective wall for "Abu Al-Qaa'id," which extends over an area of approximately 580 meters, as part of its ongoing efforts to mitigate the dangers of floods and protect lives and property.
The head of Sabya Municipality, Engineer Mohammed Hamoud Namazi, stated that so far, ordinary concrete work has been completed over a length of 200 meters, the foundation has been poured over a length of 200 meters, in addition to pouring the footing over a length of 46 meters. Currently, work is underway to complete the pouring of the remaining parts of the project according to the approved plan.
Namazi confirmed that the project comes as an enhancement of the infrastructure and a realization of safety standards, contributing to the protection of lives and property, and improving the efficiency of the valley channels and rainwater drainage in the area.
