شهّرت وزارة التجارة بمواطن سعودي ومقيم من الجنسية السورية بعد صدور حكم قضائي نهائي يُدينهما بارتكاب جريمة التستر التجاري، في نشاط بيع أجهزة ومعدات المطاعم بمدينة الرياض.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن المواطن مكّن المقيم من مزاولة النشاط التجاري تحت اسمه، ومنحه صلاحيات كاملة لإدارة وتشغيل المنشأة والتصرف فيها لحسابه الخاص، في مخالفة صريحة لنظام مكافحة التستر.
وأظهرت التحقيقات وجود أدلة مادية تُثبت الواقعة، من بينها إبرام المقيم للعقود، وإشرافه على العمالة، وقيامه بعمليات البيع والشراء، وتحصيل الإيرادات، وسداد المصروفات والإيجارات.
وصدر الحكم عن المحكمة الجزائية بالرياض متضمنًا التشهير بالمخالفَين، وتغريمهما ماليًا بقيمة 20 ألف ريال مناصفة بينهما، إضافة إلى شطب السجل التجاري، وإلغاء الترخيص، وتصفية نشاط المؤسسة، واستيفاء الزكاة والضرائب والرسوم، مع المنع من مزاولة النشاط مستقبلًا، وإبعاد المتستر عليه نهائيًا عن المملكة.
وأكدت وزارة التجارة أن نظام مكافحة التستر ينص على عقوبات مشددة تصل إلى السجن خمس سنوات، وغرامات مالية تصل إلى خمسة ملايين ريال، مع مصادرة الأموال غير المشروعة بعد صدور الأحكام القضائية، داعية إلى الإبلاغ عن أي حالات اشتباه عبر القنوات الرسمية لضمان حماية الاقتصاد الوطني.

The Ministry of Commerce has publicly named a Saudi citizen and a resident of Syrian nationality after a final court ruling convicted them of committing the crime of commercial concealment in the activity of selling restaurant equipment and devices in Riyadh.
The ministry clarified that the citizen enabled the resident to conduct the commercial activity under his name, granting him full authority to manage and operate the establishment and to act on his own behalf, in clear violation of the Anti-Concealment Law.
Investigations revealed material evidence proving the incident, including the resident signing contracts, supervising the workforce, conducting sales and purchases, collecting revenues, and paying expenses and rents.
The ruling was issued by the Criminal Court in Riyadh, including the public naming of the violators and fining them a total of 20,000 riyals to be shared equally between them, in addition to canceling the commercial registration, revoking the license, liquidating the establishment's activities, collecting zakat, taxes, and fees, prohibiting them from engaging in the activity in the future, and permanently deporting the concealed individual from the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Commerce confirmed that the Anti-Concealment Law stipulates severe penalties of up to five years in prison and financial fines reaching five million riyals, along with the confiscation of illegal funds after court rulings are issued, urging the public to report any suspected cases through official channels to ensure the protection of the national economy.
