يشارك المنتخب السعودي للفيزياء في منافسات أولمبياد الفيزياء الدولي 2025، المقام حالياً في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس، ويستمر حتى 25 يوليو 2025، بمشاركة نخبة من طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من مختلف دول العالم.
ويُعد أولمبياد الفيزياء الدولي من أعرق المسابقات العلمية العالمية، إذ انطلقت نسخته الأولى عام 1967 في بولندا، ويهدف إلى تنمية مهارات الطلبة في التفكير الإبداعي والتحليل العلمي وحل المشكلات.
ويمثل المملكة في هذا المحفل العلمي الدولي أربعة طلاب أهلتهم مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة» بآلاف الساعات التدريبية، بالشراكة الإستراتيجية مع وزارة التعليم، وبدعم من الراعي الحصري «أرامكو السعودية».
ويضم منتخب المملكة في هذه النسخة كلًّا من: مازن زيد الشخص من إدارة تعليم الأحساء، وعلي محمد الحسن من إدارة تعليم الشرقية، ومحمد عبدالرحمن العرفج من إدارة تعليم الشرقية، وحسين حبيب الصالح من إدارة تعليم الرياض.
وبدأت المملكة مشاركاتها في هذه المسابقة منذ عام 2011، وحققت خلالها (6) ميداليات فضية، و(20) ميدالية برونزية، إلى جانب (22) شهادة تقدير.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن برنامج موهبة للأولمبيادات الدولية والمسابقات، الهادف إلى تمكين الكفاءات الوطنية الشابة، وإعدادهم للمنافسة العالمية في مختلف مجالات العلوم والابتكار.
The Saudi Physics Team is participating in the International Physics Olympiad 2025, currently taking place in the French capital, Paris, and will continue until July 25, 2025, with the participation of a select group of high school students from various countries around the world.
The International Physics Olympiad is one of the most prestigious global scientific competitions, having launched its first edition in 1967 in Poland. It aims to develop students' skills in creative thinking, scientific analysis, and problem-solving.
The Kingdom is represented in this international scientific event by four students who have been qualified by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, "Mawhiba," through thousands of training hours, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, and with support from the exclusive sponsor, "Saudi Aramco."
The Saudi team in this edition includes: Mazen Zaid Al-Shakhs from the Al-Ahsa Education Administration, Ali Mohammed Al-Hassan from the Eastern Province Education Administration, Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Urfej from the Eastern Province Education Administration, and Hussein Habib Al-Saleh from the Riyadh Education Administration.
The Kingdom has been participating in this competition since 2011, achieving (6) silver medals, (20) bronze medals, in addition to (22) certificates of appreciation.
This participation is part of the Mawhiba program for international Olympiads and competitions, aimed at empowering young national talents and preparing them for global competition in various fields of science and innovation.
