وقّعت شركة نستله العربية السعودية مذكرة تفاهم مع جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز في مدينة جدة، في إطار شراكة إستراتيجية تهدف إلى تعزيز وتمكين وتطوير أوجه التعاون بين الطرفين في مجالات التدريب العملي، والبحث العلمي، والمبادرات التوعوية، وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة.
وجاء توقيع الاتفاقية ضمن فعاليات ملتقى التميز البحثي والمهني، الذي أُقيم في مركز الملك فهد للبحوث الطبية تحت شعار «نحو التميز.. حيث يلتقي البحث والمهنة»، برعاية سعادة رئيس الجامعة الدكتور طريف بن يوسف الأعمى، حيث شاركت نستله كراعٍ ذهبي لهذا الحدث الذي يعكس توجهات الجامعة نحو بناء جسور فعالة بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية وقطاعات الأعمال.
كما مثّل شركة نستله في توقيع الاتفاقية رئيسة قسم الشؤون المؤسسية والاستدامة في شركة نستله السعودية ورئيسة أكاديمية نستله في الشرق الأوسط، الأستاذة مها طاهر [GU1]، فيما مثّل «جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز» سعادة عميدة كلية العلوم الطبية التطبيقية، الدكتورة ثريا بنت مصطفى شيناوي.
تسعى هذه الاتفاقية لزيادة التأثير الإيجابي في شباب الوطن بتمكينهم بالمهارات والمعلومات اللازمة للنجاح والتفوق في سوق العمل وخلق بيئة مثمرة في مجالات البحث والتطوير المشتركة لتحقيق أثر مستدام في المجتمع.
كما تهدف إلى تطوير البرامج التدريبية لطلبة الجامعة، وتعزيز جاهزيتهم لسوق العمل من خلال إتاحة فرص التدريب العملي في بيئة نستله المهنية، إلى جانب دعم تمكين الخريجين المتميزين للانضمام إلى الشركة.
تشمل مجالات التعاون أيضاً تنظيم ورش عمل ومحاضرات علمية يقدمها خبراء نستله لطلبة الجامعة، إضافة إلى تشجيع تبادل الزيارات العلمية بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين والطلبة، وفتح قنوات للتواصل بين منسوبي الشركة والجامعة في مجالات الاهتمام المشترك.
تُعد هذه الاتفاقية خطوة عملية نحو تحقيق تكامل حقيقي بين القطاعين الأكاديمي والخاص، بما يعزز من كفاءة الخريجين، ويثري منظومة البحث العلمي، ويدعم الوعي المجتمعي بالصحة والتغذية في المملكة.
Nestlé Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding with King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, as part of a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing, empowering, and developing areas of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of practical training, scientific research, awareness initiatives, and the exchange of expertise and knowledge.
The signing of the agreement took place during the Research and Professional Excellence Forum, held at the King Fahd Medical Research Center under the slogan "Towards Excellence... Where Research Meets Profession," sponsored by the esteemed President of the University, Dr. Tarif bin Youssef Al-Amri. Nestlé participated as a gold sponsor for this event, which reflects the university's direction towards building effective bridges between academic institutions and business sectors.
Representing Nestlé at the signing of the agreement was the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Nestlé Saudi Arabia and Head of the Nestlé Academy in the Middle East, Ms. Maha Taher, while representing King Abdulaziz University was the esteemed Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Thuraya bint Mustafa Shenawe.
This agreement aims to increase the positive impact on the youth of the nation by empowering them with the necessary skills and knowledge for success and excellence in the labor market and creating a fruitful environment in joint research and development fields to achieve a sustainable impact in society.
It also aims to develop training programs for university students and enhance their readiness for the labor market by providing practical training opportunities in Nestlé's professional environment, in addition to supporting the empowerment of outstanding graduates to join the company.
The areas of cooperation also include organizing workshops and scientific lectures presented by Nestlé experts for university students, as well as encouraging the exchange of scientific visits between faculty members, researchers, and students, and opening channels of communication between the company's staff and the university in areas of mutual interest.
This agreement represents a practical step towards achieving real integration between the academic and private sectors, enhancing the efficiency of graduates, enriching the scientific research system, and supporting community awareness of health and nutrition in the Kingdom.
