فعّل فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير، ممثلاً في إدارة الاتصال المؤسسي والإعلام بالشراكة مع فرع وزارة الرياضة في المنطقة، على ملعب مدينة الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية، فعالية اليوم العالمي لكرة القدم، التي هدفت إلى إشراك الموظفين، وتنشيط الممارسة الرياضية، وزيادة عدد الممارسين، كلبنة أولى لمبادرات قادمة، فيما تعتبر المبادرة الأولى من نوعها على مستوى المملكة، وأقيمت بجهود ذاتية من الجهتين بتعاون ثنائي بينهما فيما التكاليف المالية لهذه الفعالية «صفر».
وحضر اللقاء مدير عام فرع وزارة الرياضة بعسير فهد آل حنتوم، ونائب مدير فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بالمنطقة المهندس علي بن سيف القحطاني، اللذان كرما المشاركين في الفعالية، كما شارك الرياضي عيسى الشقيقي في إدارة تنظيمها.
من جهته، أشاد نائب مدير فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، بتعاون فرع وزارة الرياضة بعسير وسرعة التجاوب، مشيداً باقتراح المبادرة من قبل إدارة الاتصال المؤسسي والإعلام، كتفعيل للاتصال الداخلي والخارجي، وتشجيع الموظفين على ممارسة لعبة كرة القدم التي هي من مستهدفات رؤية 2030.
The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Asir region, represented by the Institutional Communication and Media Department in partnership with the branch of the Ministry of Sports in the region, held an event for the World Football Day at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium. The event aimed to engage employees, promote sports practice, and increase the number of practitioners as a first step for upcoming initiatives. This initiative is considered the first of its kind at the national level and was organized through self-efforts from both parties, with a financial cost for this event being "zero".
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Sports branch in Asir, Fahd Al-Hantoum, and the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the region, Engineer Ali bin Saif Al-Qahtani, who honored the participants in the event. Athlete Issa Al-Sheqi also participated in organizing it.
For his part, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture praised the cooperation of the Ministry of Sports branch in Asir and their quick response, commending the initiative proposed by the Institutional Communication and Media Department as a way to activate internal and external communication and encourage employees to practice football, which is one of the targets of Vision 2030.
