شهدت أجواء عدد من المدن السعودية أمس (الاثنين)، عوالق ترابية، وسجلت محافظة جدة أعلى درجة حراراة بلغت 47 وفق محلل الطقس في المركز الوطني للأرصاد عقيل العقيل، الذي كشف لـ «عكاظ» عن تأثر جدة برياح شرقية، كما تأثرت بها منطقتا مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة؛ ما جعلها حارة وجافة.
وأوضح العقيل أن منطقة الرياض تأثرت أيضاً بشكل كامل بالعوالق الترابية والأتربة المثارة، والتي بدأت (الأحد) في مناطق شمال وشمال شرق المملكة، وشرق منطقة القصيم، وشمال منطقة الرياض.
وأوضح العقيل أن هذه الفترة من فصول السنة تكثر فيها التقلبات الجوية والتباين في درجات الحرارة بين ارتفاع وانخفاض، مع تقارب خطوط الضغط الجوي المؤدي إلى نشاط الرياح السطحية، مشدداً على أن كتلة الغبار دخلت العاصمة الرياض وما تزال تؤثر فيها، وإن كان ذلك بشكل أخف من الساعات السابقة، ولا تزال الرؤية الأفقية في حدود 1 كم أو أقل.
وبيّن محلل الطقس في المركز الوطني للأرصاد، أن الغبار حالياً في غرب منطقة الرياض، وشرق منطقة مكة المكرمة، وشرق المرتفعات في الطائف، وشرق منطقة الباحة، ومحافظة العقيق، متوقعاً انخفاض الرؤية الأفقية بسبب العوالق الترابية التي بدأت بالفعل تصل إلى شرق مرتفعات جبال السروات في منطقتي مكة المكرمة والباحة، وقد تصل إلى الأجزاء الشمالية من عسير.

The atmosphere in several Saudi cities witnessed dusty conditions yesterday (Monday), with Jeddah recording the highest temperature of 47 degrees according to weather analyst Aqeel Al-Aqeel from the National Center of Meteorology, who revealed to "Okaz" that Jeddah was affected by eastern winds, as were the regions of Makkah and Madinah, making them hot and dry.
Al-Aqeel explained that the Riyadh region was also fully affected by the dusty conditions and raised dust, which began on (Sunday) in the northern and northeastern areas of the Kingdom, as well as the eastern part of Al-Qassim and the northern part of Riyadh.
He pointed out that this time of year sees a lot of weather fluctuations and variations in temperatures between highs and lows, with the convergence of atmospheric pressure lines leading to the activity of surface winds, emphasizing that a dust mass has entered the capital Riyadh and continues to affect it, although to a lesser extent than in previous hours, and horizontal visibility remains around 1 km or less.
The weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology indicated that the dust is currently in the western part of Riyadh, the eastern part of Makkah, the eastern highlands in Taif, the eastern part of Al-Bahah, and Al-Aqiq Governorate, expecting a decrease in horizontal visibility due to the dusty conditions that have already begun to reach the eastern highlands of the Sarawat Mountains in the regions of Makkah and Al-Bahah, and may reach the northern parts of Asir.
