استقبل نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الإثنين)، رئيس جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن الدكتور محمد بن محسن السقاف، يرافقه عدد من نواب الرئيس وعمداء الكليات وقيادات الجامعة، وذلك بمناسبة بدء العام الجامعي الجديد.
وأكد نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن ما يحظى به قطاع التعليم من دعم واهتمام من القيادة يجسد حرصها على بناء الإنسان وتنمية القدرات الوطنية، مشيراً إلى أهمية مواصلة تطوير البيئة التعليمية والارتقاء بجودة مخرجاتها، بما يواكب متطلبات المستقبل.
وقدّم السقاف لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية عرضاً عن سير العملية التعليمية واستعدادات الجامعة مع بدء العام الجامعي الجديد، والترتيبات والتنظيمات المتخذة لضمان جاهزيتها، بما في ذلك تهيئة المرافق والمنشآت الجامعية، واستكمال المتطلبات اللازمة لانتظام الدراسة، إضافة إلى تهيئة البيئة الأكاديمية والإدارية، بما يضمن سير العام الجامعي وفق أعلى مستويات الجاهزية، ويوفر للطلبة ومنسوبي الجامعة بيئة تعليمية ملائمة ومحفزة.
ورفع السقاف شكره وتقديره لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية على اهتمامه ومتابعته المستمرة.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, received today (Monday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan the President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dr. Mohammed bin Mohsen Al-Suqaf, accompanied by several vice presidents, deans of colleges, and university leaders, on the occasion of the start of the new academic year.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province emphasized that the support and attention given to the education sector by the leadership reflects its commitment to building human capacity and developing national capabilities, pointing to the importance of continuing to develop the educational environment and enhancing the quality of its outputs to meet future requirements.
Al-Suqaf presented to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province an overview of the educational process and the university's preparations for the start of the new academic year, as well as the arrangements and regulations taken to ensure its readiness, including the preparation of facilities and university buildings, completing the necessary requirements for the regularity of studies, in addition to creating an academic and administrative environment that ensures the academic year proceeds at the highest levels of readiness, providing students and university staff with a suitable and motivating educational environment.
Al-Suqaf expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province for his continuous interest and follow-up.
