توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة اليوم( الخميس) على أجزاء من مناطق نجران وجازان وعسير والباحة ومرتفعات مكة المكرمة، مصحوبة بزخات من البَرَد، وسط تحذيرات من جريان السيول في المواقع المتأثرة بالحالة المطرية.
وأوضح المركز، في تقريره عن حالة الطقس، أن فرص الأمطار تمتد إلى الأجزاء الجنوبية من المنطقة الشرقية، إذ يُتوقع أن تشهد أمطاراً خفيفة.
رياح وغبار على عدة مناطق
وبالتزامن مع الحالة المطرية، يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من المناطق المتأثرة، إضافة إلى أجزاء من الشرقية والرياض، فيما تمتد موجة الرياح والغبار إلى أجزاء من مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وتبوك، خصوصاً المناطق الساحلية منها.
البحر الأحمر.. أمواج تصل إلى متر ونصف
وعلى البحر الأحمر، توقّع المركز أن تكون حركة الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 12 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، ويكون البحر خفيفاً إلى متوسط الموج.
الخليج العربي.. رياح شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة، ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expects moderate to heavy thunderstorms today (Thursday) in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the highlands of Makkah, accompanied by showers of hail, amid warnings of flash floods in areas affected by the rainy conditions.
The center explained in its weather report that the chances of rain extend to the southern parts of the Eastern Province, where light rain is expected.
Winds and Dust in Several Areas
Alongside the rainy conditions, the effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand continues in parts of the affected areas, in addition to parts of the Eastern Province and Riyadh, while the wave of winds and dust extends to parts of the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk, especially the coastal areas.
The Red Sea.. Waves Reaching One and a Half Meters
On the Red Sea, the center expects the surface winds to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging between 12 and 35 kilometers per hour, while the wave height ranges between half a meter and one and a half meters, with the sea being light to moderately wavy.
The Arabian Gulf.. Winds from North-West to South-West
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds ranging between 10 and 30 kilometers per hour, with wave heights ranging between half a meter and one and a half meters, while the sea condition is light to moderately wavy.
