أدانَتْ رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي، باستنكارٍ شديدٍ، اعترافَ حكومة جمهورية كولومبيا بسيادة إسرائيل على الجولان السورية المحتلة.
وندد الأمين العام، رئيسُ هيئة علماء المسلمين، فضيلةُ الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى في بيانٍ للأمانة بهذا الاعتراف الذي يُخالف القانونَ الدولي، وقرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة، لا سيما قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 497 الصادر عام 1981م، الذي اعتبر فرض إسرائيل قوانينها وولايتها وإدارتها على الجولان السورية المحتلة باطلاً ولاغياً، ولا يترتب عليه أيّ أثرٍ قانونيٍّ، مجدّداً التأكيدَ على أنّ الجولان أرضٌ عربيةٌ سورية محتلة، وأنّ أيّ إجراءات أو قرارات تخالف ذلك هي قراراتٌ باطلةٌ ومرفوضةٌ ومُدانةٌ، وتقوّض جهودَ تحقيق السَّلام في المنطقة.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the recognition by the Government of the Republic of Colombia of Israel's sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan.
The Secretary-General, President of the Assembly of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced in a statement the recognition that contradicts international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, particularly Security Council Resolution 497 issued in 1981, which considered Israel's imposition of its laws, sovereignty, and administration over the occupied Syrian Golan as null and void, with no legal effect. He reiterated that the Golan is an occupied Syrian Arab land, and that any measures or decisions that contradict this are invalid, rejected, and condemned, undermining efforts to achieve peace in the region.
