رفع الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة العامة للطرق المهندس بدر بن عبدالله الدلامي الشكر والتقدير لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود -حفظهما الله- بمناسبة صدور موافقة مجلس الوزراء على تنظيم الهيئة العامة للطرق.
وأوضح أن هذه الموافقة تأتي في إطار الدعم المستمر وغير المحدود الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة لقطاع الطرق، مما يعزز الدور المحوري للهيئة كونها جهة منظمة للقطاع، الذي يُعد أحد أهم القطاعات الممكنة لجميع برامج ومستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
وأكد الدلامي أن التنظيم سيعزز الدور المحوري للهيئة من خلال بناء القدرات التنظيمية والفنية ودعم وتمكين الجهات في القطاع، سعياً إلى تحقيق مستهدفات برنامج قطاع الطرق، وسيسهم التنظيم في تعزيز الحوكمة والتكامل مع شركاء النجاح، بما يدعم استمرار النجاحات التي تحققت في القطاع أخيراً، ويواكب متطلبات المرحلة القادمة.
وبيّن أن التنظيم سيسهم في توسيع نطاق عمل الهيئة، وتعزيز تنافسية القطاع، وجذب الاستثمارات المحلية والأجنبية في قطاع الطرق، إضافة إلى تمكين الجهات العاملة فيه. وأشار إلى أن هذه الخطوة ستنعكس إيجاباً على التنمية الاقتصادية الشاملة في المملكة.
وأكد أن الهيئة تعمل جنباً إلى جنب مع شركاء النجاح كافة من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة للارتقاء بهذا القطاع، مشيراً إلى التكامل الكبير الذي شهدته رحلة تنظيم الهيئة، والذي سينعكس على تجربة المستخدمين خلال الفترة القادمة من خلال تمكين الهيئة من تنفيذ أدوارها.
The CEO of the Public Authority for Roads, Engineer Badr bin Abdullah Al-Dalami, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah protect them - on the occasion of the Cabinet's approval of the organization of the Public Authority for Roads.
He explained that this approval comes as part of the continuous and unlimited support that the wise leadership provides to the roads sector, which enhances the pivotal role of the authority as the regulatory body for the sector, considered one of the most important sectors enabling all programs and targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Dalami confirmed that the organization will strengthen the authority's pivotal role by building regulatory and technical capacities and supporting and empowering entities in the sector, in pursuit of achieving the targets of the Roads Sector Program. The organization will contribute to enhancing governance and integration with partners in success, supporting the continuation of the successes achieved in the sector recently, and keeping pace with the requirements of the upcoming phase.
He indicated that the organization will contribute to expanding the scope of the authority's work, enhancing the competitiveness of the sector, and attracting local and foreign investments in the roads sector, in addition to empowering the entities operating within it. He noted that this step will positively reflect on comprehensive economic development in the Kingdom.
He affirmed that the authority works hand in hand with all partners in success from government and private entities to elevate this sector, pointing to the significant integration witnessed during the authority's organizational journey, which will reflect on the user experience in the coming period by enabling the authority to carry out its roles.
