أكد رئيس مجلس أمناء منتدى الرياض الاقتصادي الدكتور عبدالعزيز العنقري أن رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز للدورة الـ12 للمنتدى، المقرر إقامتها خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 14 أكتوبر 2026، تجسد امتداداً للدعم الذي توليه القيادة لكل ما يسهم في خدمة الاقتصاد الوطني وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص.
وأوضح العنقري أن الدورة الجديدة تتضمن 5 دراسات إستراتيجية تدعم مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، وتجسد نموذجاً للشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص والقطاع الأكاديمي، من خلال إشراك الخبراء والمختصين في إعداد الدراسات ومناقشتها، بما يعزز جودة مخرجاتها وأثرها.
قضايا محورية
وبيّن أن المنتدى واصل خلال دوراته السابقة تقديم دراسات متخصصة تناولت قضايا تنموية واقتصادية واجتماعية، وأسهمت في إثراء الحوار الوطني ودعم صناعة القرار.
وتتناول الدراسات الخمس قضايا اقتصادية وتنموية محورية، تشمل تحديات الازدحام المروري في المدن الكبرى وآثارها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، ونقل وتوطين المعرفة والخبرات لدى الكوادر الوطنية، وتوظيف الزراعة الذكية والذكاء الاصطناعي في تطوير القطاع الزراعي وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي والمائي، إلى جانب أثر التشريعات والسياسات العامة في دعم التنمية المستدامة ورفع كفاءة البيئة التنظيمية والعدلية، وتعظيم العوائد الاقتصادية والاجتماعية من استضافة الفعاليات العالمية الكبرى، مثل معرض إكسبو 2030 وكأس العالم 2034.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Riyadh Economic Forum, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Anqari, confirmed that the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, for the 12th session of the forum, scheduled to take place from October 12 to 14, 2026, embodies the ongoing support provided by the leadership for everything that contributes to serving the national economy and enhancing the role of the private sector.
Al-Anqari explained that the new session includes 5 strategic studies that support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and represent a model of partnership between the public and private sectors and the academic sector, by involving experts and specialists in preparing and discussing the studies, which enhances the quality of their outputs and their impact.
Key Issues
He indicated that the forum has continued, during its previous sessions, to present specialized studies that addressed developmental, economic, and social issues, contributing to enriching the national dialogue and supporting decision-making.
The five studies address key economic and developmental issues, including the challenges of traffic congestion in major cities and its economic and social impacts, the transfer and localization of knowledge and expertise among national cadres, the employment of smart agriculture and artificial intelligence in developing the agricultural sector and enhancing food and water security, as well as the impact of legislation and public policies in supporting sustainable development and improving the efficiency of the regulatory and judicial environment, and maximizing the economic and social returns from hosting major global events, such as Expo 2030 and the World Cup 2034.
