فتحت جامعات سعودية مسارات القبول المباشر في عدد واسع من البرامج الأكاديمية، تصدرتها تخصصات إدارة الأعمال، إلى جانب التسويق، وإدارة المستشفيات، والموارد البشرية، والمراجعة الداخلية، والمحاسبة، وإدارة اللوجستيات، والعلاقات العامة، في برامج يغلب عليها الطابع النظري، وذلك بالتزامن مع انطلاق المرحلة الثانية من التسجيل عبر المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد (قبول).
ورصدت «عكاظ»، أن الجامعات أتاحت القبول المباشر في برامج البكالوريوس والماجستير والدكتوراه، إضافة إلى الدبلومات المتوسطة والدبلومات المشاركة، مع إتاحة فرص التجسير في عدد من البرامج، بما يمنح الطلبة مسارات متعددة لاستكمال رحلتهم التعليمية.
وشملت الجامعات التي فتحت القبول المباشر، جامعة الملك سعود، وجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز، وجامعة طيبة، وجامعة جدة، وجامعة الباحة، وجامعة القصيم، وجامعة الملك فيصل، وجامعة اليمامة، وجامعة حفر الباطن، إلى جانب جامعات أخرى أعلنت برامجها عبر مواقعها الإلكترونية.
ويتزامن ذلك مع تمديد المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد (قبول) فترة التسجيل الجامعي لمدة 29 يوماً إضافية عبر مرحلة «استمرارية الفرص المتبقية»، التي تبدأ في 3 أغسطس وتستمر حتى 31 أغسطس، عقب انتهاء المرحلة الأولى من «الفرص المتبقية» التي امتدت 30 يوماً، من 22 يوليو حتى 2 أغسطس، في خطوة تمنح الطلبة فرصة جديدة للحصول على المقاعد الشاغرة واستكمال إجراءات القبول.
ويعكس تزامن التقديم عبر منصة «قبول» مع مسارات القبول المباشر في الجامعات توسيع قاعدة القبول الجامعي، وإتاحة خيارات أكثر أمام الطلبة للالتحاق بالتعليم العالي، بما ينسجم مع توجه المملكة نحو تعزيز استمرارية التعليم ورفع كفاءة الوصول إلى الفرص التعليمية، في ظل التطور المتسارع الذي يشهده القطاع، وآخره صدور نظام التعليم العام الجديد الداعم لجودة التعليم واستدامة فرصه، تحقيقاً لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
Saudi universities have opened direct admission pathways for a wide range of academic programs, led by business administration, along with marketing, hospital management, human resources, internal auditing, accounting, logistics management, and public relations, in programs that are predominantly theoretical. This coincides with the launch of the second phase of registration through the national unified admission platform (Qabul).
According to "Okaz," universities have made direct admission available for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, in addition to intermediate diplomas and joint diplomas, while also providing bridging opportunities in several programs, giving students multiple pathways to continue their educational journey.
The universities that have opened direct admission include King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, Taibah University, Jeddah University, Al-Baha University, Qassim University, King Faisal University, Al-Yamamah University, and Hafr Al-Batin University, along with other universities that have announced their programs through their websites.
This coincides with the extension of the national unified admission platform (Qabul) for university registration for an additional 29 days through the "continuation of remaining opportunities" phase, which starts on August 3 and continues until August 31, following the completion of the first phase of "remaining opportunities" that lasted 30 days, from July 22 to August 2. This step provides students with a new opportunity to secure vacant seats and complete admission procedures.
The alignment of applications through the "Qabul" platform with direct admission pathways in universities reflects the expansion of university admission criteria and offers more options for students to enroll in higher education, in line with the Kingdom's direction to enhance the continuity of education and improve access to educational opportunities, amid the rapid developments in the sector, the latest of which is the issuance of the new general education system that supports the quality of education and the sustainability of its opportunities, achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
