Are you suffering from an overload of promotional messages and notifications from banks and airlines that flood your app interface and bury your important personal conversations at the bottom? It seems that "WhatsApp" has finally decided to put an end to this daily chaos with a new organizational touch that millions have been waiting for.
A separate folder for business messages
The instant messaging platform "WhatsApp" has started testing a new feature aimed at bringing more order to the app's main interface by creating a separate folder where messages from business accounts and institutions will be automatically transferred.
The new folder, which will be named "Offers and Updates," is designated to receive promotional messages and update notifications; such as shipping messages and usual discount codes, with the app taking care of moving them automatically away from the main chat list after a specified period.
Plans for future expansion
Currently, the feature is limited in its testing phase to messages from large companies and institutions, but the app's parent company "Meta" is considering the possibility of expanding this experience in the future to include notifications and updates from small businesses and stores as well, providing users with a more developed and smooth interface.
