ضبطت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي ثلاث مخالفات لنظام البيئة في عددٍ من مناطق المملكة؛ شملت إشعال النار في مواقع غير مخصصة، ونقل حطب محلي، ورعي الإبل في مناطق محظور الرعي فيها، وذلك ضمن جهودها المستمرة لحماية الغطاء النباتي والحياة الفطرية والحد من التجاوزات البيئية.
في عسير، ضبطت القوات مواطنًا أشعل النار في أماكن غير مخصصة لها، مؤكدة أن عقوبة هذا الفعل تصل إلى 3,000 ريال. كما ضبطت في منطقة الرياض مواطنًا نقل مترًا مكعبًا من الحطب المحلي، حيث تصل عقوبة نقل الحطب والفحم المحليين إلى 16,000 ريال لكل متر مكعب، وتم تسليم الكميات المضبوطة للجهة المختصة.
وفي محمية الملك عبدالعزيز الملكية، أوقفت القوات مواطنًا ارتكب مخالفة رعي 25 متنًا من الإبل في مواقع محظور الرعي فيها، مبينة أن عقوبة رعي الإبل تبلغ 500 ريال لكل متن.
وحثّت قوات الأمن البيئي على الإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية عبر الرقم 911 في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و999 و996 في بقية المناطق، مؤكدة التعامل مع البلاغات بسرية تامة.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security have detected three violations of the environmental system in several regions of the Kingdom; these included lighting fires in unauthorized locations, transporting local firewood, and grazing camels in areas where grazing is prohibited, as part of their ongoing efforts to protect vegetation cover and wildlife and to limit environmental violations.
In Asir, the forces apprehended a citizen who lit a fire in unauthorized places, confirming that the penalty for this act can reach 3,000 riyals. They also caught a citizen in the Riyadh region who transported one cubic meter of local firewood, where the penalty for transporting local firewood and charcoal can reach 16,000 riyals for each cubic meter, and the seized quantities were handed over to the relevant authority.
In the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, the forces stopped a citizen who committed a violation by grazing 25 camels in prohibited grazing areas, indicating that the penalty for grazing camels is 500 riyals for each camel.
The Environmental Security forces urged reporting any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife via the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 and 996 in other regions, confirming that reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
