وزير الداخلية يضع حجر الأساس لمقر قيادة القوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي بمنطقة الباحة

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, laid the foundation stone yesterday for the headquarters of the Special Forces for Environmental Security in the Al-Baha region, in the presence of the Emir of Al-Baha region, Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz.

The Minister of Interior listened to an explanation about the project, which comes as part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to enhance the environmental security system in the regions of the Kingdom, support the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and contribute to achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of life.

The Minister of Interior was briefed on a visual presentation about the new headquarters, which will include operational, administrative, and logistical facilities, as well as modern technological equipment that contributes to supporting the work of the Special Forces for Environmental Security and enabling them to perform their tasks efficiently.

The project contributes to enhancing the readiness of the Special Forces for Environmental Security, supporting their efforts to preserve the environment and natural resources, and implementing relevant regulations and instructions, which enhances environmental sustainability and aligns with national development objectives.

Present at the foundation-laying ceremony were the Deputy Emir of Al-Baha region, Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah bin Turki, and several senior officials accompanying the Minister of Interior.
