توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد، تفاوت معدلات هطول الأمطار ودرجات الحرارة على مناطق السعودية خلال أشهر أغسطس وسبتمبر وأكتوبر 2026، مبيناً أن فرص الأمطار تتجه إلى الارتفاع التدريجي، لتسجل مستويات أعلى من المعدل على أغلب المناطق خلال أكتوبر القادم.
وأوضح المركز، في توقعاته المناخية، أن هطول الأمطار خلال أغسطس سيكون أقل من المعدل على منطقتي جازان والباحة، وأجزاء من مناطق نجران وعسير ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وتبوك والرياض والشرقية، فيما يتوقع أن يكون حول المعدل على بقية مناطق السعودية.
وأشار إلى أن سبتمبر سيشهد هطول أمطار أعلى من المعدل على مناطق تبوك والمدينة المنورة والباحة، وأجزاء من مناطق عسير ومكة المكرمة والقصيم وحائل والجوف والحدود الشمالية، في حين تكون الأمطار حول معدلها الطبيعي على بقية المناطق.
وبحسب التوقعات، يُنتظر أن ترتفع معدلات الأمطار خلال أكتوبر لتكون أعلى من المعدل على أغلب مناطق المملكة، وحول المعدل على أجزاء من منطقتي الشرقية ونجران.
وفي ما يتعلق بدرجات الحرارة، توقّع المركز ارتفاعها خلال أغسطس عن المعدل الطبيعي بشكل متفاوت، يصل إلى نحو 2.5 درجة مئوية على أجزاء من مناطق الباحة وعسير ومكة المكرمة.
كما يُتوقع أن تسجل درجات الحرارة خلال سبتمبر ارتفاعاً يصل إلى درجتين مئويتين على مناطق جازان والمدينة المنورة وتبوك والجوف وحائل والقصيم والحدود الشمالية، وأجزاء من مناطق عسير ومكة المكرمة والباحة والرياض والشرقية.
وأضاف المركز، أن درجات الحرارة خلال أكتوبر قد ترتفع عن معدلاتها الطبيعية بنحو 2.5 درجة مئوية على أجزاء من مناطق نجران وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والرياض والشرقية.
وأكد المركز الوطني للأرصاد، أهمية متابعة التحديثات الدورية الصادرة عن المركز، وما تتضمنه من مؤشرات حول تطورات الحالة المناخية ومعدلات الأمطار ودرجات الحرارة في مختلف مناطق السعودية.
The National Center of Meteorology expected fluctuations in rainfall rates and temperatures across Saudi Arabia during the months of August, September, and October 2026, indicating that the chances of rain are gradually increasing, with levels expected to be higher than average in most regions during the upcoming October.
The center clarified in its climate forecasts that rainfall in August will be below average in the regions of Jazan and Al-Baha, and parts of the regions of Najran, Asir, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, while it is expected to be around average in the rest of the regions of Saudi Arabia.
It pointed out that September will witness rainfall above average in the regions of Tabuk, Madinah, and Al-Baha, and parts of the regions of Asir, Makkah, Al-Qassim, Ha'il, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders, while rainfall will be around its normal rate in the rest of the regions.
According to the forecasts, it is expected that rainfall rates will rise in October to be above average in most regions of the Kingdom, and around average in parts of the Eastern Province and Najran.
Regarding temperatures, the center predicted that they will rise in August above the normal rate variably, reaching about 2.5 degrees Celsius in parts of the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, and Makkah.
It is also expected that temperatures in September will rise by up to two degrees Celsius in the regions of Jazan, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Ha'il, Al-Qassim, the Northern Borders, and parts of the regions of Asir, Makkah, Al-Baha, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.
The center added that temperatures in October may rise above their normal rates by about 2.5 degrees Celsius in parts of the regions of Najran, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.
The National Center of Meteorology emphasized the importance of following the periodic updates issued by the center, which include indicators regarding developments in the climatic situation, rainfall rates, and temperatures in various regions of Saudi Arabia.
