أعلنت وزارة الداخلية ممثلةً بالمديرية العامة للدفاع المدني تحديث لائحة مسؤوليات المختص بأعمال السلامة والأمن الصناعي في الوزارات والمصالح الحكومية ذات الشخصية المعنوية العامة والمؤسسات، عبر جريدة «أم القرى» الرسمية، بمسماها الجديد «مسؤوليات مسؤول السلامة والوقاية والحماية من الحريق» في الجهات الحكومية والخاصة.
ويهدف تحديث اللائحة إلى تحسين ورفع مستوى جاهزية المنشآت للتعامل مع الحوادث اليومية والكوارث، وضمان كفاءة عمل أنظمة الوقاية والحماية من الحريق، وتعزيز فعالية التخطيط المالي وكفاءة الإنفاق، إلى جانب تنظيم أعمال المباشرة الأولية للحوادث في المنشأة وتنفيذ خطط الإخلاء، وتحديد الوسائل اللازمة لذلك.
كما تسعى اللائحة إلى تحديد مهمات وواجبات مسؤولي السلامة وفق التشريعات والأنظمة الحديثة، وتوضيح المؤهلات والخبرات المطلوبة لشاغلي هذه الوظائف، ورفع مستوى الرقابة الذاتية لدى الجهات المشمولة بتطبيق أحكام اللائحة، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على زيادة نسبة الامتثال لاشتراطات السلامة والوقاية والحماية من الحريق.

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, announced an update to the list of responsibilities for the specialist in industrial safety and security in ministries and government entities with public legal personality and institutions, through the official newspaper "Um Al-Qura," under its new title "Responsibilities of the Safety and Fire Prevention and Protection Officer" in government and private entities.
The update aims to improve and enhance the readiness of facilities to deal with daily incidents and disasters, ensure the efficiency of fire prevention and protection systems, and strengthen the effectiveness of financial planning and spending efficiency, in addition to organizing initial response actions to incidents in the facility and implementing evacuation plans, and determining the necessary means for that.
The list also seeks to define the tasks and duties of safety officers according to modern legislation and regulations, clarify the qualifications and experiences required for those holding these positions, and raise the level of self-monitoring among the entities covered by the provisions of the list, which positively reflects on increasing compliance with safety, prevention, and fire protection requirements.
