منعت الهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العُلا ممارسة أنشطة القيادة أو استخدام المركبات بأساليب تُلحق الضرر بالغطاء النباتي
وبيّنت أن مخالفة أنشطة القيادة المضرة بأراضي الغطاء النباتي تنص على فرض غرامات مالية تصاعدية بحق المخالفين حال تكرارها، إذ تبدأ بـ 500 ريال للمخالفة الأولى، و1000 ريال للمخالفة الثانية، وتصل إلى 2000 ريال للمخالفة الثالثة.
وفي شأن ذي صلة، ضبطت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي مواطنًا مخالفًا لنظام البيئة؛ لارتكابه مخالفة رعي (4) أمتان من الإبل في مواقع محظور الرعي فيها في محمية الإمام عبدالعزيز بن محمد الملكية، وتم تطبيق الإجراءات النظامية بحقه، كما تم ضبط مواطن خالف نظام البيئة؛ لعدم الالتزام بتعليمات وإرشادات المحافظة على الغطاء النباتي بإشعال النار في الأماكن غير المخصصة لها في محمية الإمام فيصل بن تركي الملكية، وتم تطبيق الإجراءات النظامية بحقه.
وفي الفياض والروضات البرية في محمية الملك عبد العزيز تم ضبط مخالف لدخوله بمركبته في المحمية وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقه.
The Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate has prohibited driving activities or using vehicles in ways that harm the vegetation cover.
It clarified that violations of driving activities harmful to vegetation cover lands are subject to escalating financial penalties for repeat offenders, starting with 500 riyals for the first violation, 1000 riyals for the second violation, and reaching up to 2000 riyals for the third violation.
In a related matter, the Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a citizen violating environmental regulations for grazing (4) camels in areas where grazing is prohibited in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve. Legal procedures were applied against him. Additionally, another citizen was apprehended for violating environmental regulations by not adhering to the instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation cover by lighting a fire in unauthorized areas in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve, and legal procedures were applied against him as well.
In the wetlands and wild pastures of the King Abdulaziz Reserve, a violator was apprehended for entering the reserve with his vehicle, and legal procedures were taken against him.
