شهد نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة نائب رئيس مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، بمقر الإمارة بجدة اليوم (الإثنين)، توقيع مذكرة تعاون بين هيئة تطوير المنطقة والهيئة العامة للإحصاء؛ لتعزيز التكامل الإحصائي، وتطوير منظومات البيانات الداعمة للتخطيط والتنمية الإقليمية في المنطقة.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى تعزيز العمل المؤسسي المشترك بين الجهتين، والارتقاء بقدرات الرصد والتحليل الإحصائي ودعم تطوير المرصد الحضري الإقليمي للمنطقة، من خلال بناء قواعد بيانات حضرية موحّدة وإعداد مؤشرات أداء تسهم في متابعة واقع التنمية ورفع كفاءة اتخاذ القرار، إضافة إلى تعزيز تبادل الخبرات والاستشارات الفنية، وتطوير الأدوات والمنهجيات الإحصائية، بما يعكس حرص الجهتين على توحيد الجهود وتحقيق تكامل مستدام في مجالات البيانات والتحليل.
ومثّل توقيع المذكرة كل من مستشار نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تطوير منطقة مكة المكرمة المهندس فارس بن أحمد رجب، ورئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء الدكتور فهد بن عبدالله الدوسري.
ويعكس توقيع هذه المذكرة الدور المحوري للجهتين في قيادة جهود التنسيق والتكامل بين الجهات ذات العلاقة، وبناء منظومات بيانات موحّدة تسهم في رفع كفاءة التخطيط التنموي، وتعزز استدامة المشاريع والمبادرات التنموية في المنطقة.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Makkah Region Development Authority, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, witnessed today (Monday) at the Emirate's headquarters in Jeddah the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Makkah Region Development Authority and the General Authority for Statistics; aimed at enhancing statistical integration and developing data systems that support planning and regional development in the area.
The memorandum aims to enhance joint institutional work between the two parties, improve the capabilities of statistical monitoring and analysis, and support the development of the regional urban observatory for the area, through the establishment of unified urban databases and the preparation of performance indicators that contribute to monitoring the reality of development and improving decision-making efficiency. Additionally, it aims to enhance the exchange of expertise and technical consultations, and develop statistical tools and methodologies, reflecting the commitment of both parties to unify efforts and achieve sustainable integration in the fields of data and analysis.
The signing of the memorandum was represented by the Advisor to the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region and CEO of the Makkah Region Development Authority, Engineer Faris bin Ahmed Rajab, and the Chairman of the General Authority for Statistics, Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Dosari.
This memorandum reflects the pivotal role of both parties in leading coordination and integration efforts among relevant entities, building unified data systems that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of developmental planning, and promoting the sustainability of development projects and initiatives in the region.
