واصلت مجموعة لولو تعزيز حضورها في السوق السعودي بافتتاح فرعها السبعين في المملكة، والذي يقع في مدينة الطائف. ويُعد هذا الافتتاح محطة مهمة في إستراتيجية التوسع الخاصة بالمجموعة، وتجسيدًا لالتزامها المستمر بدعم قطاع التجزئة في السعودية.
جرى افتتاح فرع لولو هايبرماركت الجديد على يد سعادة المهندس عبدالله بن خميس الزايدي، أمين الطائف، بحضور سعادة ناصر هويدن ذيبان علي الكتبي، القنصل العام لدولة الإمارات في جدة، وسعادة فهد أحمد خان سوري، القنصل العام للهند في جدة، إلى جانب السيد/ يوسف علي، رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة لولو.
وأكد السيد/ يوسف علي بهذه المناسبة قائلاً: «نحن فخورون بدعم رؤية السعودية 2030 من خلال توسيع شبكة متاجرنا في مختلف مناطق المملكة. هذا الهايبرماركت الجديد صُمّم لتقديم تجربة تسوّق مميزة لأهالي الطائف، والمساهمة في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية وتوفير فرص العمل للمجتمع المحلي».
ويمتد المتجر الجديد على مساحة تُقدّر بـ 195,770 قدمًا مربعًا، ويضم تحت سقفه أقسامًا متنوعة تشمل: الأغذية الطازجة، الإلكترونيات «لولو كونكت»، الأزياء، المتجر المتعدد الأقسام، منتجات التجميل «بلش»، بالإضافة إلى خدمات البصريات «اي إكسبرس». كما يضم المتجر ردهة مطاعم حديثة تلبي احتياجات المتسوقين، إلى جانب ستة صناديق دفع ذاتي وحوالى 500 موقف للسيارات.
وجرى الافتتاح وسط عروض ترويجية خاصة على مختلف الفئات، بما يعكس التزام لولو بتقديم منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة، ومواكبة أهداف المملكة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
وخلال الحفل، كرّم السيد/ يوسف علي موظفي لولو في السعودية المشاركين في إنجاز العمل الفني الزجاجي الخاص باليوم الوطني 95، الذي دخل موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية كأكبر عمل من نوعه، وقدّم لهم دروعًا تذكارية تقديرًا لجهودهم. هذا العمل الفني صُمّم ليكون الشعار الرسمي لاحتفالات اليوم الوطني السعودي، وجاء تنفيذه بمبادرة من لولو تعبيرًا عن اعتزازها بالمملكة.
كما حضر حفل الافتتاح أيضًا عدد من كبار مسؤولي المجموعة، منهم أشرف علي، المدير التنفيذي للمجموعة، ومحمد حارث، المدير الإقليمي لشركة لولو السعودية للأسواق الكبرى، ونوشاد م.أ، المدير الإقليمي للمنطقة الغربية، إلى جانب عدد من المسؤولين التنفيذيين.
Lulu Group continued to strengthen its presence in the Saudi market by opening its seventieth branch in the Kingdom, located in the city of Taif. This opening is an important milestone in the group's expansion strategy and embodies its ongoing commitment to support the retail sector in Saudi Arabia.
The new Lulu Hypermarket branch was inaugurated by His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Khamis Al-Zaydi, the Secretary of Taif, in the presence of His Excellency Nasser Hwaidin Dhiban Ali Al-Ketbi, the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Jeddah, and His Excellency Fahd Ahmed Khan Suri, the Consul General of India in Jeddah, along with Mr. Yusuf Ali, Chairman of the Lulu Group.
On this occasion, Mr. Yusuf Ali stated: “We are proud to support Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding our store network across various regions of the Kingdom. This new hypermarket is designed to provide a unique shopping experience for the people of Taif and contribute to economic development and job creation for the local community.”
The new store spans an estimated area of 195,770 square feet and includes various sections such as: fresh foods, electronics "Lulu Connect," fashion, a department store, beauty products "Blush," in addition to optical services "i Express." The store also features a modern food court to meet shoppers' needs, alongside six self-checkout counters and approximately 500 parking spaces.
The opening was accompanied by special promotional offers across various categories, reflecting Lulu's commitment to providing high-quality products and services, in line with the Kingdom's economic and social goals.
During the ceremony, Mr. Yusuf Ali honored Lulu employees in Saudi Arabia who participated in the creation of the glass artwork for the 95th National Day, which entered the Guinness World Records as the largest work of its kind, and presented them with commemorative plaques in appreciation of their efforts. This artwork was designed to be the official logo for the Saudi National Day celebrations and was executed as an initiative by Lulu to express its pride in the Kingdom.
Also attending the opening ceremony were several senior officials from the group, including Ashraf Ali, the Group CEO, Mohammed Harith, the Regional Director of Lulu Saudi Arabia Hypermarkets, and Noshad M.A., the Regional Director for the Western Region, along with several other executives.
