يشهد قطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في منطقة المدينة المنورة وتيرةً تصاعديةً وتوسّعاً مستمراً في الأنشطة المرتبطة به، بناءً على ما أكدته الغرفة التجارية الصناعية بالمدينة المنورة، في ظل تنامي الطلب على خدمات النقل والتخزين، واتساع النشاط التجاري والسياحي في المنطقة.
وأشارت الغرفة -وفقاً لتقريرها الاقتصادي- إلى أن القطاع يشهد تنامياً متزايداً وإقبالاً من المستثمرين وروّاد الأعمال، بما يُسهم في تقديم حلول لوجستية مرنة تدعم التجارة والخدمات والضيافة، ومنها خدمات النقل السياحي، لاسيما في ظل تسجيل إشغال فنادق بنسبة 76.9% في المدينة المنورة حتى نهاية يونيو 2025، ويُعد القطاع عاملاً مشتركاً بين العديد من الأنشطة الحيوية، ومحرّكاً مباشراً للنمو المحلي في المدينة ومحافظاتها.
وسجّلت منطقة المدينة المنورة مبيعات نقاط بيع بلغت نحو 404 ملايين ريال خلال الأسبوع الماضي، وتسهم المنطقة بنحو 6.6%، في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي للمملكة، ما يعكس استمرار الطلب المحلي على السلع والخدمات المرتبط بالحركة التجارية، التي يُعد قطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية من أعمدتها الأساسية.
وأوضحت الغرفة أن قطاع النقل يمثل ركيزة أساسية تدفع عجلة التنمية الاقتصادية في المنطقة، من خلال دعم الأنشطة الاقتصادية، وتطوير البنية التحتية، ورفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد.
ويُسهم هذا الحراك الاقتصادي المتسارع في خلق بيئة جاذبة للاستثمار، وتوفير فرص عمل جديدة، وتنمية الخدمات الداعمة في مجالات النقل والتخزين والخدمات اللوجستية، ما يعزّز من مكانة المدينة المنورة مركزاً اقتصادياً ولوجستياً مهماً على مستوى المملكة.

The transportation and logistics sector in the Medina region is witnessing a rising pace and continuous expansion in related activities, as confirmed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Medina, amid growing demand for transportation and storage services, and the expansion of commercial and tourism activities in the region.
The chamber indicated - according to its economic report - that the sector is experiencing increasing growth and interest from investors and entrepreneurs, contributing to the provision of flexible logistical solutions that support trade, services, and hospitality, including tourist transportation services, especially with hotel occupancy rates recorded at 76.9% in Medina until the end of June 2025. The sector is a common factor among many vital activities and a direct driver of local growth in the city and its governorates.
The Medina region recorded point-of-sale sales amounting to approximately 404 million riyals during the past week, contributing about 6.6% to the Kingdom's GDP, reflecting the continued local demand for goods and services associated with commercial activity, of which the transportation and logistics sector is one of its main pillars.
The chamber clarified that the transportation sector represents a fundamental pillar driving economic development in the region by supporting economic activities, developing infrastructure, and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
This accelerating economic activity contributes to creating an attractive investment environment, providing new job opportunities, and developing supporting services in the fields of transportation, storage, and logistics, which enhances Medina's position as an important economic and logistical center at the national level.
