حققت المملكة إنجازاً جديداً في مجال ريادة الأعمال، بتقدم العاصمة الرياض 60 مركزاً خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية ضمن تصنيف أفضل 100 بيئة أعمال ناشئة صاعدة عالميّاً، لتحتل المرتبة الـ23 في تقرير «منظومة الشركات الناشئة العالمية 2025» الصادر عن منظمة Startup Genome بالشراكة مع شبكة ريادة الأعمال العالمية.
ويعكس هذا التقدم اللافت النمو المتسارع الذي تشهده المملكة في بيئة ريادة الأعمال، لاسيما في مؤشرات رأس المال الجريء، وتطور البنية التحتية للمنظومة الريادية، إلى جانب ارتفاع مستويات الابتكار والاستثمار في التقنيات الناشئة، في ظل ما تقدمه الجهات الحكومية في المملكة من دعم وتمكين للمستثمرين في القطاع، ومنها ما تقدمه الهيئة العامة للمنشآت الصغيرة والمتوسطة «منشآت» من جهود في بناء منظومة ريادية متكاملة، من خلال مبادراتها وبرامجها الداعمة لنمو وتوسع الشركات الناشئة، وتعزيز البيئة التشريعية والتنظيمية لرواد الأعمال، لرفع حصة تلك المنشآت في الناتج المحلي تحقيقا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وبحسب التقرير سجلت المملكة ثاني أعلى أداء في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وجاءت في المرتبة الثالثة من حيث حجم التمويل وقيمة الاستثمار مقابل الأثر، فيما حلّت في المرتبة الرابعة من حيث توفر المهارات والخبرات؛ ما يعزز من قدرتها على استقطاب وحفظ المواهب الريادية.
وسلّط التقرير الضوء على القطاعات الواعدة التي أسهمت في هذه النتائج، وفي مقدمتها الذكاء الاصطناعي، والتقنيات المالية، والأمن السيبراني، والمدن الذكية، والبنية التحتية، إضافة إلى الصحة الرقمية، التي تمثل ركائز أساسية في خطط التحول الاقتصادي للمملكة.
واستند التقرير إلى تحليلات بيانات لأكثر من 5 ملايين شركة ناشئة ضمن أكثر من 350 منظومة عالمية، مستعرضاً أبرز الاتجاهات الاستثمارية والسياسات المحفزة لنجاح الابتكار وريادة الأعمال على المستوى الدولي.
The Kingdom has achieved a new milestone in the field of entrepreneurship, with the capital Riyadh advancing 60 places over the past three years in the ranking of the top 100 emerging business environments globally, now occupying the 23rd position in the "Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2025" issued by Startup Genome in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
This remarkable progress reflects the rapid growth that the Kingdom is witnessing in its entrepreneurial environment, particularly in venture capital indicators, the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem's infrastructure, along with rising levels of innovation and investment in emerging technologies, supported by the efforts of government entities in the Kingdom to empower and support investors in the sector. This includes the initiatives and programs provided by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" to build a comprehensive entrepreneurial ecosystem, through its initiatives and programs that support the growth and expansion of startups, and enhance the legislative and regulatory environment for entrepreneurs, aiming to increase the share of these enterprises in the GDP in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to the report, the Kingdom recorded the second highest performance in the Middle East and North Africa, ranking third in terms of funding size and investment value relative to impact, while it ranked fourth in terms of the availability of skills and expertise; which enhances its ability to attract and retain entrepreneurial talent.
The report highlighted the promising sectors that contributed to these results, foremost among them artificial intelligence, financial technologies, cybersecurity, smart cities, infrastructure, in addition to digital health, which represent key pillars in the Kingdom's economic transformation plans.
The report was based on data analysis from over 5 million startups across more than 350 global ecosystems, showcasing the main investment trends and policies that stimulate the success of innovation and entrepreneurship at the international level.
