استقبلت المسالخ ونقاط الذبح بمنطقة نجران، ومحافظاتها ومراكزها التابعة، 6,594 أضحية، خلال يوم عيد الأضحى وأيام التشريق.
وأوضح فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بالمنطقة أن إحصائية المذبوحات شملت 6,238 رأساً من الأغنام، و323 رأساً من الإبل، و33 رأساً من البقر، مشيراً إلى أن عدد المسالخ التي تعمل ويشرف عليها الفرع 26 مسلخاً، تم تجهيزها ومتابعتها من خلال خطة اشتملت على الجولات الرقابية والاستعدادات اللازمة لاستقبال الذبائح، كما قام الكادر البيطري بالكشف على الأضاحي للتأكد من خلوها من الأمراض المعدية والوبائية؛ لضمان سلامتها، وكذلك الإشراف على آلية الذبح، والتأكد من وصولها للمستفيدين بطريقة صحيحة وآمنة.

The slaughterhouses and slaughter points in the Najran region, along with its governorates and affiliated centers, received 6,594 sacrificial animals during the Day of Eid al-Adha and the days of Tashreeq.
The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the region clarified that the statistics of the slaughtered animals included 6,238 heads of sheep, 323 heads of camels, and 33 heads of cattle. It pointed out that the number of slaughterhouses operating under the supervision of the branch is 26, which were prepared and monitored through a plan that included inspection tours and necessary preparations to receive the sacrifices. The veterinary staff also examined the sacrificial animals to ensure they were free from infectious and epidemic diseases to guarantee their safety, as well as supervising the slaughtering process and ensuring that the meat reached the beneficiaries in a correct and safe manner.
