زار وزير الاستثمار المهندس خالد الفالح، بمقر غرفة تجارة وصناعة جدة، وذلك في إطار جهود الوزارة الرامية إلى مواصلة تطوير البيئة الاستثمارية في المملكة، من خلال تعزيز التواصل مع قطاع الأعمال.
وعقد الوزير الفالح خلال الزيارة لقاءً مع رئيس وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة، وعدد من رجال وسيدات الأعمال في منطقة مكة المكرمة، مؤكداً أن وزارة الاستثمار تسعى، بالتعاون مع جميع الجهات ذات العلاقة، لتحقيق مستهدفات المملكة التي تشمل زيادة إسهام القطاع الخاص الوطني في إجمالي الناتج المحلي، وفي تعزيز واستدامة متانة الاقتصاد الوطني، مفيداً أن الوزارة حريصة على دعم وتمكين استثمارات القطاع الخاص السعودي، داخل المملكة وخارجها، من خلال مختلف المحفزات والممكنات والتسهيلات المتاحة، وجهود المؤسسات الداعمة المختلفة.
وشهد اللقاء مناقشة سبل تمكين القطاع الخاص من أداء دوره الحيوي في دعم النمو الاقتصادي، وتعزيز إسهاماته في تنويع موارد الاقتصاد الوطني، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، كما جرى بحث التحديات التي تواجه المستثمرين، وسبل معالجتها، من خلال التحديثات التشريعية، والممكنات الاستثمارية التي تعمل الوزارة بشكلٍ مستمر على تطويرها.
واستعرض اللقاء، أبرز المبادرات والمشروعات الإستراتيجية التي أنجزتها الوزارة، بما في ذلك نظام الاستثمار المحدث، والتشريعات المحفزة للاستثمار، والجهود المستمرة لتحسين بيئة الأعمال وزيادة جاذبية السوق السعودية.
وتخلل اللقاء حواراً مفتوحاً مع مجتمع الأعمال في جدة، نوقشت فيه التطلعات المستقبلية، وفرص التكامل بين القطاعين العام والخاص، بما يسهم في تسريع وتيرة الاستثمار وتعزيز استدامته، لا سيما في القطاعات الواعدة ذات الأولوية على المستويين الوطني والدولي.
يذكر أن الزيارة تأتي ضمن سلسلة اللقاءات، التي تنظمها وزارة الاستثمار، مع شركائها، في مختلف مناطق المملكة، في إطار سعيها لتعزيز الشراكة مع القطاع الخاص، بهدف دعم مسيرة التنمية الشاملة، وتمكين الاستثمارات، وتحفيز وتحسين بيئة الأعمال.

The Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, visited the headquarters of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the ministry's efforts to continue developing the investment environment in the Kingdom by enhancing communication with the business sector.
During the visit, Minister Al-Falih held a meeting with the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors, along with a number of businessmen and businesswomen in the Makkah region. He emphasized that the Ministry of Investment aims, in cooperation with all relevant entities, to achieve the Kingdom's targets, which include increasing the contribution of the national private sector to the gross domestic product and enhancing and sustaining the strength of the national economy. He noted that the ministry is keen to support and empower Saudi private sector investments, both within the Kingdom and abroad, through various incentives, enablers, and available facilities, as well as the efforts of various supporting institutions.
The meeting discussed ways to enable the private sector to play its vital role in supporting economic growth and enhancing its contributions to diversifying the resources of the national economy, in line with the targets of Vision 2030. The challenges facing investors and ways to address them were also discussed through legislative updates and investment enablers that the ministry is continuously working to develop.
The meeting reviewed the key initiatives and strategic projects that the ministry has accomplished, including the updated investment system, investment-encouraging legislation, and ongoing efforts to improve the business environment and increase the attractiveness of the Saudi market.
The meeting included an open dialogue with the business community in Jeddah, where future aspirations and opportunities for integration between the public and private sectors were discussed, contributing to accelerating the pace of investment and enhancing its sustainability, especially in promising priority sectors at both national and international levels.
