نفى الرئيس المشارك للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي أندريه هوفمان صحة الأنباء التي تحدثت عن احتمال نقل الاجتماع السنوي الرئيسي للمنتدى من مقره التاريخي في دافوس.
ويأتي هذا النفي بعد تصريحات أدلى بها الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بلاك روك لاري فينك، الأسبوع الماضي، أشار فيها إلى أن المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي ينبغي أن يستكشف أفكاراً جديدة، ملمحاً إلى مواقع أخرى محتملة لاستضافة الاجتماع.
تدوير الاجتماع
وكانت صحيفة فايننشال تايمز قد أفادت بأن فينك ناقش بشكل غير معلن خيارات لتدوير الاجتماع السنوي للمنتدى بين عدة مواقع مختلفة.
وكان الاجتماع السنوي الـ56 للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي (دافوس 2026) قد عقد في مدينة دافوس بسويسرا خلال الفترة من 19-23 يناير 2026.
وتركزت نقاشات المنتدى حول 5 محاور أساسية تشمل التعاون الدولي، تحفيز مصادر النمو الجديدة، الاستثمار في الأفراد، النشر المسؤول للابتكار، وبناء الرخاء ضمن الحدود البيئية للكوكب.
The co-chairman of the World Economic Forum, Andre Hoffmann, denied the reports about the possibility of moving the forum's main annual meeting from its historic location in Davos.
This denial comes after statements made by BlackRock CEO Larry Fink last week, in which he suggested that the World Economic Forum should explore new ideas, hinting at other potential locations for hosting the meeting.
Rotating the Meeting
The Financial Times reported that Fink discussed, in an unofficial capacity, options for rotating the forum's annual meeting among several different locations.
The 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (Davos 2026) is scheduled to take place in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19-23, 2026.
Discussions at the forum will focus on five key areas, including international cooperation, stimulating new sources of growth, investing in people, responsible innovation dissemination, and building prosperity within the planet's environmental limits.
