عقد مجلس التجارة والاستثمار السعودي-الأمريكي اجتماعه التاسع في العاصمة الرياض، برئاسة الهيئة العامة للتجارة الخارجية من الجانب السعودي، ومكتب الممثل التجاري الأمريكي من الجانب الأمريكي، ومشاركة 20 جهة من كلا الجانبين.
وناقش الاجتماع 31 مبادرة مشتركة ووطنية وأنشطة مشتركة في مختلف المجالات تعمل على تحقيق المستهدفات الوطنية الاقتصادية والتجارية لرؤية المملكة 2030.
تعزيز التعاون
ويهدف المجلس إلى تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي بين البلدين من خلال مراجعة السياسات التجارية والاستثمارية، ومعالجة العوائق، ودعم الحوار الفني بين الجهات المعنية، كما يركز على تطوير السياسات التجارية والاستثمارية، وتسهيل التجارة ومعالجة العوائق الفنية والتنظيمية، ودعم التعاون في تدابير الصحة والصحة النباتية والمنتجات الزراعية، وتعزيز حماية الملكية الفكرية، وتنمية التجارة الرقمية والابتكار والتقنيات الناشئة.
The Saudi-American Trade and Investment Council held its ninth meeting in the capital Riyadh, chaired by the Saudi General Authority for Foreign Trade and the U.S. Trade Representative's Office, with the participation of 20 entities from both sides.
The meeting discussed 31 joint and national initiatives and collaborative activities in various fields aimed at achieving the economic and trade targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Enhancing Cooperation
The council aims to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries by reviewing trade and investment policies, addressing barriers, and supporting technical dialogue among relevant parties. It also focuses on developing trade and investment policies, facilitating trade, addressing technical and regulatory barriers, supporting cooperation in health measures, plant health, and agricultural products, enhancing intellectual property protection, and fostering digital trade, innovation, and emerging technologies.
