تعتزم شركات سعودية كبرى تنفيذ استثمارات بمليارات الدولارات في سورية، في إطار نهج المملكة الموجه نحو الأعمال من أجل تعافي البلاد.
وقال الرئيس التنفيذي لـ«مجلس الأعمال السعودي السوري» عبدالله ماندو إن من بين الشركات التي تتطلع إلى دخول السوق السورية شركتي «أكوا باور، وإس تي سي».
وأضاف أن الخطة تهدف إلى البدء بأساسيات الاقتصاد السوري الذي مزقته الحرب، من خلال إعادة بناء البنية التحتية للطاقة وقطاعي المال والاتصالات، وفقاً لوكالات إعلامية.
ومضى قائلاً: «الهدف هو جذب مليارات الدولارات من رأس المال الفعلي إلى سورية خلال السنوات الخمس القادمة».
Major Saudi companies intend to invest billions of dollars in Syria, as part of the Kingdom's business-oriented approach for the country's recovery.
The CEO of the "Saudi-Syrian Business Council," Abdullah Mando, stated that among the companies looking to enter the Syrian market are "Aqua Power" and "STC."
He added that the plan aims to start with the fundamentals of the Syrian economy, which has been torn apart by war, by rebuilding the infrastructure of the energy sector as well as finance and communications, according to media agencies.
He went on to say: "The goal is to attract billions of dollars in actual capital to Syria over the next five years."
