ارتفع مؤشر الرقم القياسي لكميات الإنتاج الصناعي في السعودية بنسبة 7.1% خلال شهر أغسطس الماضي على أساس سنوي، وبنسبة 1.4% على أساس شهري.
وأفادت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء السعودية في اليوم (الخميس)، بأن الارتفاع في الرقم القياسي للإنتاج الصناعي جاء مدعوماً بنمو أنشطة التعدين واستغلال المحاجر، والصناعات التحويلية، وأنشطة إمدادات الكهرباء والغاز والبخار وتكييف الهواء، وإمدادات المياه، والصرف الصحي، وإدارة النفايات ومعالجتها.
وارتفع مؤشر الرقم القياسي الفرعي لنشاط التعدين واستغلال المحاجر بنسبة 8.1% خلال شهر أغسطس 2025 على أساس سنوي، نتيجة ارتفاع مستوى الإنتاج النفطي في المملكة خلال شهر أغسطس ليصل إلى 9.72 مليون برميل يومياً، مقارنة بـ 8.99 مليون برميل يومياً في شهر أغسطس من عام 2024، وسجل هذا المؤشر ارتفاعاً بنسبة 2.1% على أساس شهري.
وسجل مؤشر الرقم القياسي الفرعي لنشاط الصناعة التحويلية ارتفاعاً بنسبة 5.6% على أساس سنوي، مدعوماً بارتفاع نشاط صنع فحم الكوك والمنتجات النفطية المكررة، الذي ارتفع بنسبة 8.9%، ونشاط صنع المواد والمنتجات الكيميائية، الذي زاد بنسبة 8.6%.
وعلى صعيد الأداء الشهري للمؤشر الفرعي لنشاط الصناعة التحويلية تشير النتائج الأولية إلى ارتفاع أداء المؤشر بنسبة 0.3% نتيجة نشاط صنع فحم الكوك والمنتجات النفطية المكررة الذي صعد بنسبة 0.4%، ونشاط صنع المواد والمنتجات الكيميائية الذي ارتفع بنسبة 0.4%.
ونما الرقم القياسي الفرعي لنشاط إمدادات الكهرباء والغاز والبخار وتكييف الهواء بنسبة 8.7%، وارتفعت أنشطة إمدادات المياه والصرف الصحي وأنشطة إدارة النفايات ومعالجتها بنسبة 6%، على أساس سنوي.
وصعد مؤشر الرقم القياسي للأنشطة النفطية في شهر أغسطس عام 2025 بنسبة 8.3 %، على أساس سنوي، أما مؤشر الرقم القياسي للأنشطة غير النفطية فارتفع بنسبة 4.4%.
وتشير النتائج إلى ارتفاع مؤشر الرقم القياسي للأنشطة النفطية بنسبة 1.7%، والأنشطة غير النفطية 0.7%، على أساس شهري، مقارنة بشهر يوليو 2025.

The industrial production index in Saudi Arabia increased by 7.1% in August compared to the same month last year, and by 1.4% month-on-month.
The Saudi General Authority for Statistics reported on Thursday that the rise in the industrial production index was supported by growth in mining and quarrying activities, manufacturing industries, electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply activities, as well as water supply, sewage, and waste management and treatment activities.
The sub-index for mining and quarrying activities rose by 8.1% in August 2025 year-on-year, due to an increase in oil production levels in the Kingdom during August, reaching 9.72 million barrels per day, compared to 8.99 million barrels per day in August 2024. This index also recorded a month-on-month increase of 2.1%.
The sub-index for manufacturing activities recorded an increase of 5.6% year-on-year, supported by a rise in the production of coke and refined petroleum products, which increased by 8.9%, and the production of chemical materials and products, which rose by 8.6%.
Regarding the monthly performance of the sub-index for manufacturing activities, preliminary results indicate an increase of 0.3% in the index due to the activity of producing coke and refined petroleum products, which rose by 0.4%, and the activity of producing chemical materials and products, which also increased by 0.4%.
The sub-index for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply activities grew by 8.7%, while water supply, sewage, and waste management and treatment activities increased by 6% year-on-year.
The oil activities index in August 2025 rose by 8.3% year-on-year, while the non-oil activities index increased by 4.4%.
The results indicate that the oil activities index rose by 1.7%, and the non-oil activities index by 0.7%, month-on-month, compared to July 2025.
