كشف رصد أجرته «عكاظ» أن ملكية النساء للعقارات تجاوزت الرجال في مدينتين وتعادلن في مدينة، وهو ما يعد مؤشراً مشجعاً على تقدم المرأة في مجال الاستقلال الاقتصادي والمساهمة في التنمية المحلية.
ووفقاً للرصد، تجاوزت ملكية النساء للعقارات في مدينة لينة (بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية)، وفرسان (بمنطقة جازان)، وتعادلن مع الرجال في مدينة الحجرة (بمنطقة الباحة)، ما يعكس تنوع المواقع الجغرافية التي تحقق فيها النساء إنجازات ملموسة في هذا القطاع الحيوي.
الرياض وجدة تتصدران
على مستوى المدن الكبرى، حافظت مدينة الرياض على موقعها في الصدارة من حيث عدد النساء المالكات للعقارات، بإجمالي 2442 امرأة، وهو ما يعادل 19.16% من إجمالي ملكية النساء للعقارات في المملكة.
وفي المرتبة الثانية، جاءت مدينة جدة بعدد 2252 امرأة مالكة، بنسبة 17.67% من إجمالي ملكية النساء للعقارات، تلتها المدينة المنورة بـ 666 امرأة بنسبة 5.23%، ومكة المكرمة بـ 571 امرأة بنسبة 4.48% ثم بريدة التي سجلت تملك 510 امرأة للعقار بنسبة 4%.
أكثر من 12 ألف مالكة
وبلغ إجمالي عدد النساء المالكات للعقارات في مختلف أنحاء المملكة 12,742 امرأة، توزعن على 136 مدينة، وهو رقم يعكس حجم المشاركة النسائية المتزايدة في السوق العقارية، ويعزز من المؤشرات المرتبطة بتمكين المرأة على الصعيدين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، تماشيًا مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
ويشير هذا النمو في ملكية النساء للعقارات إلى زيادة مستوى الوعي الاستثماري لدى المرأة السعودية، وارتفاع معدل استقلالها المالي، ما يعزز من دورها كشريك رئيس في بناء اقتصاد مزدهر ومجتمع حيوي، وهي أهداف إستراتيجية في رؤية المملكة.
كما أن هذا التنوع الجغرافي في ملكية النساء للعقارات، من مناطق حدودية إلى جزر ومناطق جبلية، يعكس تطور البنية التحتية العقارية وتوسّع الفرص أمام المرأة في جميع أنحاء المملكة، وليس فقط في المدن الكبرى.
A survey conducted by "Okaz" revealed that women's ownership of real estate has surpassed that of men in two cities and is equal in one city, which is an encouraging indicator of women's progress in the field of economic independence and contribution to local development.
According to the survey, women's ownership of real estate in the city of Al-Lina (in the Northern Borders region) and Farasan (in the Jazan region) exceeded that of men, while they are equal to men in the city of Al-Hajrah (in the Al-Baha region), reflecting the diversity of geographical locations where women are achieving tangible accomplishments in this vital sector.
Riyadh and Jeddah Lead
At the level of major cities, Riyadh maintained its leading position in terms of the number of women owning real estate, with a total of 2,442 women, which represents 19.16% of the total women's ownership of real estate in the Kingdom.
In second place, Jeddah came with 2,252 women owners, accounting for 17.67% of the total women's ownership of real estate, followed by Medina with 666 women at 5.23%, and Mecca with 571 women at 4.48%, then Buraidah, which recorded 510 women owning property at a rate of 4%.
More than 12,000 Owners
The total number of women owning real estate across the Kingdom reached 12,742, distributed across 136 cities, a figure that reflects the increasing participation of women in the real estate market and enhances the indicators related to women's empowerment on both economic and social levels, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
This growth in women's ownership of real estate indicates an increase in the investment awareness among Saudi women and a rise in their financial independence, which strengthens their role as a key partner in building a prosperous economy and a vibrant society—strategic goals in the Kingdom's Vision.
Moreover, this geographical diversity in women's ownership of real estate, from border areas to islands and mountainous regions, reflects the development of real estate infrastructure and the expansion of opportunities for women throughout the Kingdom, not just in major cities.
