تعهدت الصين باستيراد ما لا يقل عن 10 ملايين طن متري من الفحم الأمريكي في 2027، ومثلها في 2028، ضمن تفاهمات تجارية أُعلنت عقب زيارة الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ للولايات المتحدة.
وكشف البيت الأبيض توصل البلدين إلى توصيات بمنح معاملة جمركية أكثر تفضيلًا لسلع غير حساسة بقيمة 30 مليار دولار في كل اتجاه، عبر مجلس التجارة الأمريكي الصيني. وتشمل السلع الأمريكية المنتجات الزراعية والمأكولات البحرية والأخشاب ومستحضرات التجميل والأجهزة الطبية، فيما تشمل السلع الصينية الأجهزة المنزلية الصغيرة والألعاب وزينة الأعياد ومقاعد الأطفال في السيارات.
واتفق الجانبان على تشكيل مجموعة عمل لمعالجة عوائق دخول المنتجات الزراعية إلى الأسواق، وإنشاء مجلس لبحث فرص الاستثمار، إلى جانب مواصلة المحادثات بشأن إمدادات العناصر الأرضية النادرة والمعادن الحيوية. كما حثّ الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب نظيره الصيني على زيادة إنتاج المشتقات النفطية للمساعدة في استقرار الإمدادات العالمية.
وفي ملف التقنيات الناشئة، اتفق البلدان على مواصلة الحوار بشأن الذكاء الاصطناعي، على أن تُعقد الجولة المقبلة بحلول نوفمبر.
China has committed to importing no less than 10 million metric tons of American coal in 2027, and the same amount in 2028, as part of trade agreements announced following Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States.
The White House revealed that the two countries reached recommendations to grant more favorable customs treatment for non-sensitive goods valued at $30 billion in each direction, through the U.S.-China Trade Council. American goods include agricultural products, seafood, timber, cosmetics, and medical devices, while Chinese goods include small household appliances, toys, holiday decorations, and child car seats.
The two sides agreed to form a working group to address barriers to the entry of agricultural products into markets and to establish a council to explore investment opportunities, in addition to continuing discussions on the supply of rare earth elements and critical minerals. U.S. President Donald Trump also urged his Chinese counterpart to increase oil derivatives production to help stabilize global supplies.
In the field of emerging technologies, the two countries agreed to continue dialogue on artificial intelligence, with the next round scheduled to take place by November.
