تداولت أسعار الذهب اليوم, قرب أعلى مستوياتها في أكثر من شهر، إذ أدى تراجع الدولار بشكل عام وزيادة التوقعات بخفض مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي) للفائدة في سبتمبر إلى زيادة الطلب على المعدن النفيس.
واستقر الذهب في المعاملات الفورية عند (3413.80) دولارًا للأوقية (الأونصة)، بعدما سجل أعلى مستوى منذ 23 يوليو, وزاد الذهب (3.6%) منذ بداية الشهر وحتى الآن.
واستقرت أيضًا العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم ديسمبر كانون الأول عند (3473.80) دولارًا.
وفي المعادن الأخرى، انخفضت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية (0.1%) لتصل إلى (39.02) دولارًا للأوقية، وتراجع البلاتين بنسبة (0.2%) ليصل إلى (1356.69) دولارًا، واستقر البلاديوم عند (1102.75) دولار.
Gold prices traded today near their highest levels in over a month, as the general decline of the dollar and increased expectations for the Federal Reserve (the U.S. central bank) to cut interest rates in September led to increased demand for the precious metal.
Gold stabilized in spot transactions at (3413.80) dollars per ounce, after reaching its highest level since July 23, and gold has increased (3.6%) since the beginning of the month until now.
U.S. gold futures for December delivery also stabilized at (3473.80) dollars.
In other metals, silver fell (0.1%) in spot transactions to (39.02) dollars per ounce, platinum declined by (0.2%) to (1356.69) dollars, and palladium remained stable at (1102.75) dollars.
