في تراجع عن موقفها المعلن قبل نحو 24 ساعة، أعلنت إيران، اليوم السبت، إعادة إغلاق مضيق هرمز، رداً على ما وصفته باستمرار الحصار الأمريكي.
وأكد المتحدث باسم «مقر خاتم الأنبياء» العسكري الإيراني، إعادة السيطرة على مضيق هرمز، مضيفاً أنه سيبقى تحت رقابة مشددة وإدارة القوات المسلحة الإيرانية. وقال إن إيران وخلال المفاوضات وافقت بحسن نية على مرور عدد محدود من ناقلات النفط والسفن التجارية عبر مضيق هرمز بشكل منظم، وفق ما أوردت وسائل إعلام إيرانية رسمية. وأضاف أن الولايات المتحدة واصلت القرصنة البحرية تحت مسمى الحصار، ونقضت التعهدات.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أعلن استمرار حصار الموانئ الإيرانية إلى حين التوصل إلى اتفاق مع طهران.
ونقلت وكالة «رويترز»، اليوم، عن وزيرة الخارجية البريطانية إيفيت كوبر قولها: إن مضيق هرمز لم يُفتح بعد رغم وقف إطلاق النار.
وشددت على أن وقف إطلاق النار يجب أن يتحول إلى سلام دائم.
وكان وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، أعلن أمس الجمعة، أن مضيق هرمز بات مفتوحاً كليّاً أمام جميع السفن التجارية طوال الفترة المتبقية من وقف إطلاق النار، تماشياً مع وقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، وسارع الرئيس ترمب إلى الترحيب بهذه الخطوة من جانب إيران.
وأضاف عراقجي في منشور على منصة «إكس» أن مرور السفن عبر مضيق هرمز سيكون عبر الطريق المنسق كما أعلنته بالفعل منظمة الموانئ والملاحة البحرية الإيرانية.
من جانبه، اعتبر رئيس السلطة القضائية في إيران غلام حسين محسني إيجئي، أنه يجب محاكمة الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل على ما وصفها بـ«جرائم الحرب» أمام المحاكم الدولية المختصة، من أجل الحصول على التعويضات والأضرار والعقاب على ارتكاب هذه الجرائم.
وشرح خلال اجتماع للمجلس الأعلى للقضاء، ما اعتبره «أدلة قانونية لإدانة الأنظمة المعتدية للولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل من منظور القانون الدولي»، واتهم واشنطن وتل أبيب بـ«ارتكاب العديد من جرائم الحرب خلال الهجوم على إيران، بما في ذلك قتل الأطفال والمدنيين، ومهاجمة أماكن محظورة كالمستشفيات والمدارس والجامعات والأحياء السكنية»، بحسب ما أوردت وكالة «إرنا» الرسمية.
In a reversal of its previously announced position about 24 hours ago, Iran announced today, Saturday, the reclosure of the Strait of Hormuz, in response to what it described as the continuation of the American blockade.
The spokesperson for the Iranian military headquarters "Khatam al-Anbiya" confirmed the reestablishment of control over the Strait of Hormuz, adding that it will remain under strict surveillance and management by the Iranian armed forces. He stated that Iran, during the negotiations, had agreed in good faith to allow a limited number of oil tankers and commercial ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in an organized manner, according to what was reported by official Iranian media. He added that the United States continued maritime piracy under the guise of a blockade and violated its commitments.
U.S. President Donald Trump had announced the continuation of the blockade of Iranian ports until an agreement is reached with Tehran.
Today, the "Reuters" agency quoted British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper as saying that the Strait of Hormuz has not yet been opened despite the ceasefire.
She emphasized that the ceasefire must turn into a lasting peace.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced yesterday, Friday, that the Strait of Hormuz is now fully open to all commercial ships for the remainder of the ceasefire period, in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, and President Trump quickly welcomed this step by Iran.
Araghchi added in a post on the "X" platform that the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz will be via the coordinated route as already announced by the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization.
For his part, the head of the judiciary in Iran, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, considered that the United States and Israel should be tried for what he described as "war crimes" before the relevant international courts, in order to obtain compensation and accountability for committing these crimes.
During a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council, he explained what he considered "legal evidence to condemn the aggressive regimes of the United States and Israel from the perspective of international law," accusing Washington and Tel Aviv of "committing numerous war crimes during the attack on Iran, including the killing of children and civilians, and attacking prohibited places such as hospitals, schools, universities, and residential neighborhoods," according to what was reported by the official "IRNA" agency.
