بدأت الولايات المتحدة اليوم (الخميس)، فرض التعريفات الجديدة على السلع الواردة من عشرات الدول، في خطوة محورية ضمن سعي الرئيس دونالد ترمب إلى إعادة رسم معالم التجارة الدولية.
ومع بدء تطبيق الأمر التنفيذي الذي وقّعه ترمب الأسبوع الماضي، ارتفعت الرسوم الجمركية الأميركية على منتجات العديد من الشركاء التجاريين، من 10% إلى ما بين بين 15% و41%.
وقال الرئيس الأميركي: «إن مليارات الدولارات تتدفق الى الولايات المتحدة مع بدء فرض التعريفات الجديدة».
وكتب على منصته «تروث سوشيال»، مع انقضاء مهلة السابع من أغسطس التي حددها لبدء فرض هذه الرسوم: «إنه منتصف الليل (بالتوقيت المحلي)، هناك مليارات الدولارات جراء التعريفات تتدفق الآن الى الولايات المتحدة الأميركية».
وباتت العديد من المنتجات من اقتصادات مثل الاتحاد الأوروبي واليابان وكوريا الجنوبية، تواجه تعرفات بنسبة 15%، حتى مع الصفقات المبرمة مع واشنطن لتجنب زيادات أكبر يلوّح بها ترمب، لكن دولا أخرى مثل الهند تواجه رسوما بنسبة 25%، على أن تتضاعف خلال ثلاثة أسابيع، في حين تفرض على دول مثل سوريا وميانمار ولاوس مستويات تصل الى 41%.

The United States began today (Thursday) imposing new tariffs on goods imported from dozens of countries, in a pivotal move in President Donald Trump's effort to reshape international trade.
With the implementation of the executive order signed by Trump last week, U.S. tariffs on products from many trading partners have risen from 10% to between 15% and 41%.
The U.S. president stated, "Billions of dollars are flowing into the United States as the new tariffs take effect."
He wrote on his platform "Truth Social," as the deadline of August 7 that he set for the start of these tariffs passed: "It is midnight (local time), billions of dollars from the tariffs are now flowing into the United States."
Many products from economies such as the European Union, Japan, and South Korea now face tariffs of 15%, even with deals made with Washington to avoid larger increases threatened by Trump. However, other countries like India face tariffs of 25%, which are set to double within three weeks, while countries like Syria, Myanmar, and Laos face rates as high as 41%.
