أعلنت وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، تأسيس جمعية المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة غير الربحية؛ لتطوير صناعة المعادن الثمينة ومشغولاتها، وتحفيز الابتكار، وتمكين المصممين والحرفيين ودعم حلولهم الإبداعية.
يأتي ذلك في إطار جهود الوزارة لتمكين المنظمات غير الربحية في قطاعي الصناعة والتعدين، إيمانًا بدورها في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بالمملكة، حيث تواكب الأهداف الإستراتيجية للجمعية، مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ومنها تنمية المحتوى المحلي من منتجات الأحجار الكريمة والمعادن الثمينة، ودعم الصناعات الإبداعية، وتمكين المرأة والطاقات الشابة، ورفع المعايير المهنية للمصممين عبر برامج تدريبية وورش عمل وشهادات احترافية، وتمكين الحرفيين والمصممين السعوديين عبر دعم فني ومالي ومنح إنتاج وتعزيز حضورهم في المعارض المتخصصة محليًا ودوليًا.
وتستهدف الجمعية تعزيز الاستدامة وتشجيع الامتثال للممارسات البيئية المسؤولة في صناعة الأحجار الكريمة، وبناء مجتمع مهني موحد من خلال منصة رقمية تجمع بين المستثمرين والممارسين لصناعة المعادن في بيئة تفاعلية مهنية، إضافة إلى ربط الحرفيين والمصممين بسلاسل القيمة.
The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the establishment of a non-profit association for precious metals and gemstones; aimed at developing the precious metals industry and its products, stimulating innovation, empowering designers and artisans, and supporting their creative solutions.
This initiative is part of the ministry's efforts to empower non-profit organizations in the industrial and mining sectors, believing in their role in supporting economic and social development in the Kingdom. The strategic goals of the association align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, including the development of local content for gemstone and precious metal products, supporting creative industries, empowering women and young talents, raising professional standards for designers through training programs, workshops, and professional certifications, and enabling Saudi artisans and designers through technical and financial support, production grants, and enhancing their presence in specialized exhibitions both locally and internationally.
The association aims to promote sustainability and encourage compliance with responsible environmental practices in the gemstone industry, and to build a unified professional community through a digital platform that connects investors and practitioners in the metals industry within an interactive professional environment, in addition to linking artisans and designers to value chains.
