كشفت الهيئة العامة للموانئ (موانئ) أن المواشي التي استقبلتها موانئ السعودية التابعة للهيئة بلغت 1.635 مليون رأس ماشية في مايو الماضي، بارتفاع نسبته 61.22% مقارنة بالشهر المماثل من عام 2024 عندما استقبلت 1.04 مليون رأس ماشية.
وبينت «موانئ» أن الحركة الملاحية سجلت ارتفاعاً بنسبة 9.39% لتصل إلى 1,083 سفينة، مقارنة بـ990 سفينة بالفترة المماثلة نفسها من العام الماضي، وارتفعت أعداد الركاب بنسبة 68.15% لتصل إلى 95,231 راكباً، مقارنة بـ56,636 راكباً العام الماضي، وشهدت أعداد العربات زيادة بنسبة 13.09%، لتصل إلى 84,352 عربة، مقارنة بـ74,590 عربة العام الماضي.
وأعلنت ارتفاع أعداد الحاويات المناولة في مايو بنسبة 13%، لتصل إلى 720,684 حاوية قياسية، مقارنة بـ639,736 حاوية قياسية بالفترة المماثلة من العام الماضي 2024.
وسجلت حاويات المسافنة ارتفاعاً بنسبة 12.89%، لتصل إلى 149,143 حاوية، مقارنة بـ132,112 حاوية العام الماضي، فيما حققت أعداد الحاويات الواردة ارتفاعاً بنسبة 15.84%، لتصل إلى 292,223 حاوية قياسية، مقارنة بـ252,265 حاوية قياسية.
أما الحاويات الصادرة فحققت ارتفاعاً بنسبة 9.38%، لتصل إلى 279,318 حاوية قياسية، مقارنة بـ255,359 حاوية قياسية بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي، وسجل إجمالي الطنيات المناولة (البضائع العامة، والبضائع السائبة الصلبة، والبضائع السائبة السائلة) ارتفاعاً بنسبة 1.40%، لتصل إلى 21.4 مليون طن مقارنة بـ21.04 مليون طن بالفترة المماثلة من العام الماضي، وبلغ إجمالي البضائع العامة 935.932 طن، والبضائع السائبة الصلبة 5.05 مليون طن، والبضائع السائبة السائلة 15.3 مليون طن.
يذكر أن «موانئ» خلال أبريل 2025 شهدت ارتفاعاً في أعداد الحاويات المناولة بنسبة 13.43%، لتصل إلى 625,430 حاوية قياسية، مقارنة بـ551,373 حاوية قياسية بالفترة المماثلة من العام الماضي 2024.
The General Authority for Ports (Mawani) revealed that the livestock received by Saudi ports under the authority reached 1.635 million head of livestock in May, an increase of 61.22% compared to the same month in 2024 when 1.04 million head of livestock were received.
Mawani indicated that maritime traffic recorded an increase of 9.39%, reaching 1,083 ships, compared to 990 ships during the same period last year. The number of passengers increased by 68.15%, reaching 95,231 passengers, compared to 56,636 passengers last year. The number of vehicles also saw an increase of 13.09%, reaching 84,352 vehicles, compared to 74,590 vehicles last year.
It announced an increase in the number of containers handled in May by 13%, reaching 720,684 standard containers, compared to 639,736 standard containers during the same period last year in 2024.
Transshipment containers recorded an increase of 12.89%, reaching 149,143 containers, compared to 132,112 containers last year, while the number of incoming containers achieved an increase of 15.84%, reaching 292,223 standard containers, compared to 252,265 standard containers.
As for outgoing containers, they achieved an increase of 9.38%, reaching 279,318 standard containers, compared to 255,359 standard containers during the same period last year. The total tonnage handled (general cargo, bulk solid cargo, and bulk liquid cargo) recorded an increase of 1.40%, reaching 21.4 million tons compared to 21.04 million tons during the same period last year. The total general cargo was 935,932 tons, bulk solid cargo was 5.05 million tons, and bulk liquid cargo was 15.3 million tons.
It is noteworthy that Mawani witnessed an increase in the number of containers handled in April 2025 by 13.43%, reaching 625,430 standard containers, compared to 551,373 standard containers during the same period last year in 2024.
