أعلن رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه المستشار تركي بن عبدالمحسن آل الشيخ عن إقامة «ليلة الأرز» قريبًا، ضمن روزنامة الفعاليات المتنوعة التي يحتضنها موسم الرياض، في امتدادٍ لرؤية الموسم الهادفة إلى تقديم تجارب ثقافية وفنية عالمية تعكس تنوّع الحضارات وتقرّب الشعوب.
وتحمل تسمية «ليلة الأرز» دلالة رمزية عميقة، حيث يُعدّ الأرز رمزًا وطنيًا للبنان، ومرتبطًا بهويته الثقافية والتاريخية، إذ تتوسط شجرة الأرز علم الجمهورية اللبنانية، وتعكس قيم الثبات والجذور والعمق الحضاري الذي يميّز الثقافة اللبنانية.
وتأتي هذه الليلة احتفاءً بالتراث اللبناني الغني، وما يحمله من إرث موسيقي وفني وثقافي، في إطار حرص موسم الرياض على تسليط الضوء على ثقافات الدول العربية والعالمية، وتقديمها للجمهور في قالب ترفيهي معاصر يجمع بين الأصالة والحداثة.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh, announced the upcoming "Night of the Cedar," as part of the diverse events calendar hosted by the Riyadh Season, extending the season's vision aimed at providing global cultural and artistic experiences that reflect the diversity of civilizations and bring people closer together.
The name "Night of the Cedar" carries a profound symbolic significance, as cedar is a national symbol of Lebanon, closely tied to its cultural and historical identity. The cedar tree is depicted in the center of the Lebanese flag, reflecting the values of resilience, roots, and the deep civilization that characterizes Lebanese culture.
This night comes in celebration of the rich Lebanese heritage and the musical, artistic, and cultural legacy it carries, as part of the Riyadh Season's commitment to highlighting the cultures of Arab and global nations, presenting them to the audience in a contemporary entertainment format that blends authenticity and modernity.
