تحت رعاية ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، كرّم وزير الثقافة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، الفائزين في الدورة الخامسة من مبادرة «الجوائز الثقافية الوطنية»، في حفلٍ أُقيم مساء أمس (الأحد) في مركز الملك فهد الثقافي بالرياض، بحضور جمعٍ من الأمراء والمسؤولين، وقيادات المنظومة الثقافية، والأدباء، والفنانين، والإعلاميين.
وألقى وزير الثقافة كلمة في بداية الحفل، رفع فيها الشكر والعرفان لولي العهد، على دعمه الدائم للثقافة والمثقفين، ورعايته الكريمة للدورة الخامسة من مبادرة الجوائز الثقافية الوطنية، التي يُحتفى فيها بالمبدعين والمبدعات ممن أسهموا في إثراء القطاع الثقافي.
انعكاس لقيم الشكر والتقدير في ثقافتنا السعودية
وأكد وزير الثقافة أن مبادرة الجوائز الثقافية الوطنية تأتي انعكاساً لقيم الشكر والتقدير في ثقافتنا السعودية، وامتداداً لحرص وزارة الثقافة على تمكين وتشجيع المبدعين في المجالات الثقافية كافة، مُباركا للفائزين بالجوائز الثقافية الوطنية لهذا العام، ومعبراً عن اعتزازه وفخره بكل الإسهامات الثقافية للمبدعين والمبدعات من أرجاء الوطن كافة، فالثقافة تزدهر بهم وبإبداعهم.
جائزة شخصية العام الثقافية للفنان محمد عبده
بعد ذلك كرّم وزير الثقافة الفائزين بالجوائز الثقافية الوطنية للدورة الخامسة في مساراتها كافة، وحصل على جائزة شخصية العام الثقافية الفنان محمد عبده نظير مسيرته الفنية الطويلة التي كان خلالها وما زال سفيراً فوق العادة للأغنية السعودية، ورمزاً ثقافياً كبيراً.
جائزة الثقافة للشباب للشاعر الشاب يحيى رياني
في حين ذهبت جائزة الثقافة للشباب للشاعر الشاب يحيى رياني، الذي امتاز بحضوره المؤثر في فضاء الشعر العربي الفصيح، فيما ذهبت جائزة سيدات ورجال الأعمال الداعمين للنشاط الثقافي إلى رجل الأعمال عبدالمنعم الراشد، الذي تبنّى العديد من المبادرات التي تجمع بين التمكين الاجتماعي والثقافي والابتكار التقني.
ونالت جائزة التميّز الثقافي الدولي «مؤسسة أواماكي» نظير جهودها في استثمار الحِرف اليدوية لتمكين النساء في المجتمعات الجبلية الفقيرة في دولة بيرو ودعمهن بخبرات نوعية في الصناعات الحِرفية من خلال التدريب وتطوير المنتجات، فيما نال جائزة الإعلام الثقافي الرئيس السابق للقسم الثقافي بجريدة الرياض سعد الحميدين، نظير جهوده في تطوير الإعلام الثقافي السعودي على مدى أكثر من (5) عقود متواصلة من النقد والمتابعة واكتشاف الأصوات الثقافية السعودية الجديدة.
وعلى مستوى جائزة المؤسسات الثقافية ذهبت الجائزة في مسار القطاع غير الربحي إلى «مؤسسة المِداد للتراث والثقافة والفنون» لجهودها في تدشين مكتبات وقفية ومتاحف ومعارض ثقافية وفنية، مثل دار الفنون الإسلامية، ومشروع خطاط المسجد النبوي، ومشروع آيات.
وفي مسار القطاع الربحي ذهبت الجائزة إلى «شركة مانجا للإنتاج» لجهودها في استثمار عناصر الثقافة السعودية في منتجاتها الإبداعية.
وشهد الحفل تكريم الفائزين في بقية مسارات الجوائز الثقافية الوطنية بمختلف القطاعات الثقافية، وفاز بجائزة التراث الوطني عبدالله السحيباني تقديراً لجهوده في اكتشاف مواقع أثرية مهمة مثل اكتشاف موقع «شعيب الأدغم»، إضافة إلى مواقع أخرى في منطقة القصيم كشفت عن وجود بشري قديم. أما جائزة الأدب التي خُصّصت هذا العام للتأليف الفلسفي فقد فاز بها الدكتور عبدالله البريدي، نظير مؤلفاته الفلسفية التأسيسية التي تناولت بحوراً فلسفية شتى، فيما ذهبت جائزة النشر إلى «دار تشكيل» لقاء جهودها في دعم انتشار الكِتاب السعودي.
وذهبت جائزة الترجمة إلى المترجم الدكتور عبدالله الوليعي، تكريماً لجهوده في ترجمة تاريخ وثقافة المملكة، وذهبت جائزة الأفلام إلى شركة «مخزن 7» ذات الحضور المؤثر في دعم خدمات الإنتاج في صناعة الأفلام السعودية، وفاز بجائزة الموسيقى الدكتور عبدالرب إدريس، الذي أسهم في صناعة شخصية للموسيقى السعودية على مدى مسيرته الممتدة لأكثر من (5) عقود، وفاز بجائزة المسرح والفنون الأدائية صالح عبدالواحد، لجهوده في صوْن التراث الشعبي من خلال إدارته فرقة الدرعية للعرضة السعودية.
ونال جائزة فنون الطهي أحمد كامل، لجهوده في مجال فنون الطهي المستدام في المملكة، ونجاحه في نشر ثقافة فنون الطهي السعودية على المستوى الدولي، فيما نالت جائزة الفنون البصرية الفنانة مها الملّوح تقديراً لتميزها في ابتكار أعمال فنية مُركّبة، أما جائزة الأزياء فحصلت عليها الأميرة نورة بنت محمد الفيصل لريادتها في إدماج الحرف اليدوية والهوية السعودية في صناعة الأزياء، وأخيراً جائزة الحِرف اليدوية التي كانت من نصيب الدكتور فهد الحسين، لإسهامه الفاعل في توثيق الحِرف اليدوية عبر مؤلفات وبحوث علمية موسوعية.
وحُجبت جائزة فنون العِمارة والتصميم لهذا العام بقرار من لجنة التحكيم، التي رأت أن قرارها سيكون بمثابة الدافع لمزيد من التميز في القطاع.
ويأتي الحفل بمثابة ختامٍ لأعمال الدورة الخامسة من مبادرة الجوائز الثقافية الوطنية التي تتبنّى من خلالها وزارة الثقافة في كل عامٍ الاحتفاءَ بإنجازات الأفراد، والمجموعات، والمؤسسات بمختلف القطاعات الثقافية، لتشجيع المحتوى والإنتاج الثقافي المتميز الذي يخدم القطاعات الثقافية، إلى جانب تقديم دعمٍ مادي ومعنوي للفائزين، إضافة إلى تقدير الإسهامات الثقافية لسيدات ورجال الأعمال، والمؤسسات الثقافية المحلية والدولية، انطلاقاً من ركائز الإستراتيجية الوطنية للثقافة وتطلعاتها في زيادة الإبداع ومشاركة المجتمع، والثقافة من أجل النمو الاقتصادي، والاعتزاز الوطني والتبادل العالمي، ودعماً منها لتحقيق رؤية المملكة 2030 في جوانبها الثقافية.
Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan honored the winners of the fifth edition of the "National Cultural Awards" initiative at a ceremony held last night (Sunday) at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, attended by a group of princes, officials, leaders of the cultural system, writers, artists, and media professionals.
The Minister of Culture delivered a speech at the beginning of the ceremony, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Crown Prince for his continuous support for culture and intellectuals, and his generous sponsorship of the fifth edition of the National Cultural Awards initiative, which celebrates the creators who have contributed to enriching the cultural sector.
A Reflection of Values of Gratitude and Appreciation in Our Saudi Culture
The Minister of Culture affirmed that the National Cultural Awards initiative reflects the values of gratitude and appreciation in our Saudi culture and extends the Ministry of Culture's commitment to empowering and encouraging creators in all cultural fields. He congratulated the winners of the National Cultural Awards for this year and expressed his pride in the cultural contributions of creators from all over the nation, as culture thrives with them and their creativity.
Cultural Personality of the Year Award to Artist Mohammed Abdu
Following that, the Minister of Culture honored the winners of the National Cultural Awards for the fifth edition across all its categories, with the Cultural Personality of the Year Award going to artist Mohammed Abdu in recognition of his long artistic career during which he has been, and continues to be, an extraordinary ambassador of Saudi song and a significant cultural symbol.
Youth Culture Award to Young Poet Yahya Riani
Meanwhile, the Youth Culture Award was awarded to young poet Yahya Riani, who distinguished himself with his impactful presence in the realm of classical Arabic poetry. The award for supporting cultural activities went to businessman Abdul Moneim Al-Rashed, who has adopted numerous initiatives that combine social and cultural empowerment with technological innovation.
The International Cultural Excellence Award went to the "Owamaki Foundation" for its efforts in utilizing handicrafts to empower women in impoverished mountainous communities in Peru and providing them with quality expertise in artisanal industries through training and product development. The Cultural Media Award was given to the former head of the cultural section at Al-Riyadh newspaper, Saad Al-Humaidan, in recognition of his efforts in developing Saudi cultural media over more than five continuous decades of critique, follow-up, and discovering new Saudi cultural voices.
In the category of cultural institutions, the award in the non-profit sector went to the "Midad Foundation for Heritage, Culture, and Arts" for its efforts in launching endowment libraries, museums, and cultural and artistic exhibitions, such as the Islamic Arts House, the calligraphy project for the Prophet's Mosque, and the Ayat project.
In the for-profit sector, the award went to "Manga Productions" for its efforts in investing in elements of Saudi culture in its creative products.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of winners in the remaining categories of the National Cultural Awards across various cultural sectors. The National Heritage Award was won by Abdullah Al-Suhaibani in recognition of his efforts in discovering important archaeological sites, such as the discovery of the "Shu'ayb Al-Adgham" site, in addition to other sites in the Qassim region that revealed ancient human existence. The Literature Award, which was dedicated this year to philosophical writing, was awarded to Dr. Abdullah Al-Buraidi for his foundational philosophical works that addressed various philosophical domains, while the Publishing Award went to "Dar Tashkeel" for its efforts in supporting the spread of Saudi literature.
The Translation Award was given to translator Dr. Abdullah Al-Wulai'i, in recognition of his efforts in translating the history and culture of the Kingdom, while the Film Award went to "Warehouse 7," which has had a significant presence in supporting production services in the Saudi film industry. The Music Award was won by Dr. Abdulrab Idris, who has contributed to creating a distinctive identity for Saudi music over his career spanning more than five decades. The Theater and Performing Arts Award went to Saleh Abdulwahid for his efforts in preserving popular heritage through his management of the Diriyah troupe for the Saudi Ardha.
The Culinary Arts Award was awarded to Ahmed Kamel for his efforts in sustainable culinary arts in the Kingdom and his success in promoting Saudi culinary culture internationally, while the Visual Arts Award went to artist Maha Al-Malouh in recognition of her excellence in creating complex artistic works. The Fashion Award was received by Princess Nourah bint Mohammed Al-Faisal for her leadership in integrating handicrafts and Saudi identity into fashion design. Finally, the Handicrafts Award went to Dr. Fahd Al-Hussein for his active contribution to documenting handicrafts through comprehensive scientific publications and research.
The Architecture and Design Arts Award was withheld this year by a decision of the judging committee, which deemed that its decision would serve as an incentive for further excellence in the sector.
The ceremony marks the conclusion of the fifth edition of the National Cultural Awards initiative, through which the Ministry of Culture annually celebrates the achievements of individuals, groups, and institutions across various cultural sectors, to encourage distinguished cultural content and production that serves cultural sectors, alongside providing financial and moral support to the winners, in addition to recognizing the cultural contributions of businesswomen and businessmen, and local and international cultural institutions, based on the pillars of the National Culture Strategy and its aspirations to increase creativity and community participation, culture for economic growth, national pride, and global exchange, supporting the realization of Vision 2030 in its cultural aspects.
