لقيت ملكة الجمال السابقة وصانعة المحتوى كارولينا فلوريس غوميز (27 عاماً) مصرعها داخل شقتها الفاخرة في حي بولانكو الراقي بالعاصمة المكسيكية مكسيكو سيتي، بعد أن أُطلقت عليها 12 رصاصة في الوجه والرقبة والرأس.
وكشفت التحقيقات الأولية أن حماتها إريكا ماريا هيريرا كوريانت (63 عاماً) هي المتهمة الرئيسية في القضية. ولا تزال هاربة من العدالة حتى الآن.

وووثقت كاميرات المراقبة داخل الشقة لحظات صادمة للحادث، حيث تظهر كارولينا ترتدي ملابس منزلية وتتحرك في غرفة المعيشة، قبل أن تدخل مع حماتها إحدى الغرف، ويسمع صوت إطلاق نار تليه صرخات، ثم إطلاق المزيد من الطلقات، وبعد الجريمة، عادت الحماة بهدوء إلى غرفة المعيشة لتلتقي بابنها وزوج الضحية.
وذكرت تقارير إعلامية أن الزوج أقر خلال التحقيقات بأن والدته هي من أطلقت النار، فيما كان هو وطفلهما البالغ 8 أشهر موجودين داخل الشقة، وأثيرت تساؤلات حول تأخر الإبلاغ عن الجريمة حتى اليوم التالي.

وكانت كارولينا فلوريس غوميز، المنحدرة من مدينة إنسينادا بولاية باها كاليفورنيا ملكة جمال سابقة وحاصلة على لقب Miss Teen Universe Baja California عام 2017، واشتهرت أيضاً كصانعة محتوى على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وكانت أماً لطفل رضيع يبلغ من العمر 8 أشهر.
وتشير التحقيقات إلى أن الجريمة قد تكون ناتجة عن خلافات عائلية أو غيرة من جانب الحماة، خصوصاً في ظل وجود تسجيلات صوتية من جهاز مراقبة الطفل تشير إلى توترات سابقة بين الضحية وحماتها.

Initial investigations revealed that her mother-in-law, Erika Maria Herrera Coriant (63 years old), is the main suspect in the case. She is still on the run from justice.

Media reports indicated that the husband admitted during the investigations that his mother was the one who fired the shots, while he and their 8-month-old child were present in the apartment, raising questions about the delay in reporting the crime until the next day.
