A state of shock and overwhelming sadness swept through the artistic scene in Lebanon following the sudden and unexpected passing of artist and director Suha Nader, who dedicated her life to one of the most refined and challenging arts, which is puppetry and puppet manipulation.
The sudden death of the late artist was not just a passing news for her colleagues; star Rita Hayek expressed her profound shock with heartfelt words stemming from pain, praising the spirit of the late artist and her continuous contributions. Suha Nader was known for her distinguished academic background with a degree in acting and directing from the Lebanese University, specializing in shadow puppet arts and flat puppet performances. She did not limit herself to performing on stage in works such as the play "Sharbel," but also established training workshops aimed at passing on her passion and knowledge to new generations through various cultural institutions, transforming puppets into living tools that pulse with humanity.
Her colleagues in the Lebanese theater believe that Suha Nader left behind a bright mark in the Lebanese theatrical memory and a significant void in the world of arts that she had always nourished with her kind spirit.
