أطلقت الفنانة اللبنانية مايا دياب تصريحات مثيرة، كاشفةً عن جوانب شخصية ومهنية، ومؤكدة أنها تعرضت لحملات سلبية ممن وصفتهم بأنهم «يعرفون أنفسهم جيداً»، وأن بعضهم حاول فتح ملفات تتعلق بحياتها الخاصة، لكنها شددت على أنها تدرك تمامًا من يقف خلف تلك المحاولات.
وقالت دياب-خلال ظهورها مع الإعلامي محمد قيس-: إنها كثيرًا ما تواجه تعليقات مسيئة تستهدفها بشكل متعمد، مشيرةً إلى أنها تعلم هوية الأشخاص الذين يقفون وراء تلك الحملات، لكنها لا ترغب في كشف كل ما تعرفه في الوقت الحالي. وأضافت أن بعض هؤلاء حاولوا تهديدها أو الضغط عليها عبر التلويح بمعلومات شخصية، لكنها ردّت عليهم بأن عليهم أولًا «إغلاق ملفاتهم» قبل الحديث عن غيرهم.
وطرح محمد قيس سؤالًا مباشرًا حول ما إذا كانت تتعرض لانتقادات من «أقلام مأجورة»، لتجيب مايا بأن الأمر يتجاوز الانتقاد، قائلة: «حرام.. بصرفوا كثير مصاري الفنانين عليّ»، مؤكدةً أنها تعرف أسماء الأشخاص الذين يحاولون إيذاءها، وأنهم لا يدركون أنها على علم كامل بما يجري خلف الكواليس.
وتحدثت دياب أيضًا عن مواقف صعبة واجهتها خلال مسيرتها الفنية، مشيرةً إلى أن بعض الفنانين حاولوا عرقلة نجاحها أو التأثير على فرصها، ملمّحة إلى أن أحدهم «قطع برزقها»، من دون أن تكشف هويته، مكتفية بالقول إنها تجاوزت تلك المرحلة بفضل إصرارها على الاستمرار وعدم السماح لأي طرف بالتأثير على مسارها.

Diab said—during her appearance with the media personality Mohammed Qais—that she often faces offensive comments aimed at her deliberately, pointing out that she knows the identities of the people behind those campaigns, but she does not wish to disclose everything she knows at this time. She added that some of them tried to threaten her or pressure her by hinting at personal information, but she responded to them by saying they should first "close their own files" before talking about others.
Mohammed Qais asked a direct question about whether she faces criticism from "paid pens," to which Maya replied that the matter goes beyond criticism, saying: "It's a shame... they spend a lot of money on artists against me," confirming that she knows the names of the people trying to harm her, and that they do not realize she is fully aware of what is happening behind the scenes.
Diab also spoke about difficult situations she faced during her artistic career, noting that some artists tried to hinder her success or affect her opportunities, hinting that one of them "cut off her livelihood," without revealing their identity, merely stating that she has overcome that phase thanks to her determination to continue and not allow any party to influence her path.
