توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الأربعاء)، استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة، قد تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، وتكون مصحوبة بزخات من البرد.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الأمطار ستكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من منطقتي نجران والمدينة المنورة، فيما تنشط الرياح المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من المناطق المتأثرة بالأمطار، إضافة إلى أجزاء من منطقة الرياض.
رياح نشطة وأمواج مرتفعة في البحر الأحمر
وفي البحر الأحمر، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وجنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بالسرعة نفسها على الجزء الأوسط.
أما على الجزء الجنوبي، فتكون الرياح جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وقد تتجاوز 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج من نصف متر إلى متر ونصف على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، فيما قد يتجاوز مترين على الجزء الجنوبي مع السحب الرعدية، ليكون البحر خفيفاً إلى متوسط الموج، ويصل إلى مائج جنوباً.
الخليج العربي خفيف الموج
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 10 و26 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وجنوبية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة بين 10 و25 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الجنوبي.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Wednesday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will continue to fall in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, which may lead to the flow of torrents and will be accompanied by showers of hail.
The report indicated that the rain will be light to moderate in parts of the regions of Najran and Medina, while winds stirring up dust and sand will be active in parts of the areas affected by the rain, in addition to parts of the Riyadh region.
Active Winds and High Waves in the Red Sea
In the Red Sea, the surface winds are northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 10 to 30 kilometers per hour in the northern part, and southwesterly to northwesterly at the same speed in the central part.
As for the southern part, the winds are southeasterly to southwesterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 30 kilometers per hour, and may exceed 50 kilometers per hour with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, while it may exceed two meters in the southern part with thunderstorm clouds, making the sea light to moderate in waves, and reaching choppy in the south.
Light Waves in the Arabian Gulf
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 26 kilometers per hour in the northern part, and southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour in the southern part.
The wave height ranges between half a meter and one meter, while the sea condition is light in waves.
