أصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد، اليوم الثلاثاء، تنبيهًا متقدّمًا بشأن حالة جوية نشطة تؤثر في عددٍ من محافظات منطقة مكة المكرمة؛ تشمل رياحًا شديدة السرعة وأتربة مثارة وأمطارًا متفاوتة الغزارة، مصحوبة بتدنٍ واضح في مدى الرؤية وصواعق رعدية.
وأوضح المركز أن محافظتي أضم والليث تشهدان نشاطًا قويًا للرياح السطحية يتسبّب في شبه انعدام للرؤية الأفقية، إلى جانب تساقط البرَد وجريان السيول وظهور صواعق رعدية، مشيرًا إلى أن الحالة ستستمر حتى الساعة الثامنة مساءً.
كما أشار إلى أن محافظة القنفذة تتعرّض لأمطار متوسطة مصحوبة برياح شديدة، ما يؤدي إلى تدنٍ كبير في الرؤية وتساقط البرد وجريان السيول وارتفاع الأمواج على السواحل، وتستمر هذه الحالة حتى التاسعة مساءً وفق التقديرات المناخية.
The National Center of Meteorology issued an advanced alert today, Tuesday, regarding an active weather condition affecting several governorates in the Makkah region; this includes strong winds, raised dust, and varying intensities of rain, accompanied by a noticeable reduction in visibility and thunderstorms.
The center explained that the governorates of Adham and Al-Lith are experiencing strong surface wind activity, resulting in almost zero horizontal visibility, in addition to hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms, noting that this condition will continue until 8 PM.
It also indicated that the governorate of Al-Qunfudhah is experiencing moderate rain accompanied by strong winds, leading to significant visibility reduction, hail, flash floods, and rising waves along the coasts, and this condition is expected to last until 9 PM according to meteorological estimates.
