صدمة كبيرة فجرتها الفنانة المصرية كارولين عزمي بعد كشفها تفاصيل حادثة درامية مروعة تعرضت له أخيراً، تحولت فيها عطلتها الصيفية في لحظات خاطفة إلى كابوس مرعب وضع حياتها وحياة طفل صغير على المحك، بالتزامن مع مرحلة فنية فارقة تعيشها حالياً، خلال تواجدها في الساحل الشمالي بالتزامن مع عروض مسرحيتها الصيفية الناجحة «الساحل الشرير»، عاشت كارولين لحظات حبست الأنفاس أثناء نزولها البحر رفقة ابن شقيقتها الصغير.
ومع عدم إجادتها للسباحة، تفاجأت الفنانة بارتفاع مفاجئ في الأمواج وسحب التيارات البحرية لها وللطفل بعيداً عن الشاطئ، لتجد نفسها في مواجهة الموت غرقاً. أطلقت كارولين صرخات استغاثة هستيرية أنقذتها في الثواني الأخيرة بعدما هرع شقيقها نحوها وسحبها من المياه، لتقرر فوراً بدء دروس سباحة لتجاوز تلك الصدمة.
وعلى الصعيد المهني، يعيش الجمهور مع الفنانة حالة من التشويق والترقب، إذ أعلنت كارولين خوضها أول بطولة سينمائية مطلقة عبر فيلم «محمود الثاني» بجانب أحمد غزي وأحمد بحر.
واعترفت كارولين بأنها تعيش حالة من «الرعب الشديد» والتوتر بسبب هذه الخطوة، كون السينما تختلف كلياً عن الدراما التلفزيونية وتعتمد بشكل حاسم على شباك التذاكر والإقبال الجماهيري، مؤكدة أنها خطوة مصيرية في مسيرتها الفنية تتمنى أن تنال إعجاب الجمهور.

While she was in the North Coast during the successful performances of her summer play "The Evil Coast," Caroline experienced breath-holding moments while swimming in the sea with her sister's young son.
Not being a good swimmer, the artist was surprised by a sudden rise in the waves and strong currents pulling her and the child away from the shore, finding herself facing the threat of drowning. Caroline let out hysterical cries for help that saved her in the last seconds as her brother rushed to her and pulled her from the water, leading her to immediately decide to start swimming lessons to overcome that shock.
On the professional front, the audience is experiencing a sense of excitement and anticipation with the artist, as Caroline announced her first lead role in a film titled "Mahmoud II" alongside Ahmed Ghazi and Ahmed Bahar.
Caroline admitted that she is living in a state of "extreme fear" and tension because of this step, as cinema is completely different from television drama and relies heavily on box office success and public turnout, confirming that it is a pivotal step in her artistic career that she hopes will impress the audience.
