أعلنت السلطات المحلية في الكويت سحب الجنسية الكويتية من الفنان عبدالقادر الهدهود، والمخرج أحمد ريان.
سحب الجنسية
وصدر بحق الهدهود قرار رسمي بسحب الجنسية الكويتية منه، ضمن قائمة تضم 2182 شخصاً شملتهم مراسيم سحب وفقد الجنسية الكويتية الأخيرة، التي طالت شريحة واسعة ممَن اكتسبوا الجنسية بطريق التبعية أو وفقاً لمواد قانونية محددة تتم مراجعتها حالياً.
والهدهود مولود من أب مصري وأم كويتية، وحصل على الجنسية الكويتية لاحقاً بناءً على هذا الأساس.
أبناء الكويتيات
وأعلن المخرج أحمد ريان سحب الجنسية الكويتية منه من خلال منشور على منصة «إكس»، كتب فيه: «تم اليوم الإعلان عن سحب جنسيتي الكويتيه، مادة خامسة أبناء الكويتيات، الحمد لله على كل نعمه، خيرة بإذن الله وإنا لله وإنا اليه راجعون، ولا حول ولا قوه الا بالله العلي العظيم».
ويأتي هذا القرار في سياق توجّه حكومي حازم بسحب الجنسية من أبناء الكويتيات المتزوّجات من غير كويتيين، والذين حصلوا على الجنسية في فترات سابقة، إذ تخضع هذه الملفات حالياً لتدقيق قانوني شامل يتوافق مع التعديلات الجديدة الصارمة على قانون الجنسية الكويتي.

Revocation of Citizenship
A formal decision has been issued to revoke Al-Hadhoud's Kuwaiti citizenship, as part of a list that includes 2,182 individuals affected by the recent decrees regarding the revocation and loss of Kuwaiti citizenship, which targeted a wide range of those who acquired citizenship through dependency or according to specific legal provisions that are currently under review.
Al-Hadhoud was born to an Egyptian father and a Kuwaiti mother, and he later obtained Kuwaiti citizenship based on this foundation.
Children of Kuwaiti Women
Director Ahmed Rayan announced the revocation of his Kuwaiti citizenship through a post on the platform "X," in which he wrote: "Today, the announcement was made regarding the revocation of my Kuwaiti citizenship, Article Five, children of Kuwaiti women. Thank God for all His blessings, it is for the best, God willing, and indeed we belong to God and to Him we shall return, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Great."
This decision comes in the context of a firm government approach to revoke citizenship from the children of Kuwaiti women married to non-Kuwaitis, who had previously obtained citizenship. These cases are currently undergoing a comprehensive legal review in accordance with the new strict amendments to the Kuwaiti citizenship law.
