استمعت المحكمة العسكرية في لبنان، اليوم (الخميس)، في جلستين منفصلتين إلى كل من الفنان فضل شاكر وأحمد الأسير، وذلك ضمن سياق المحاكمات المتعلقة بملف «أحداث عبرا» التي وقعت في صيدا عام 2013.
لم أطلق رصاصة
و جدد الفنان اللبناني خلال الجلسة، نفيه القاطع المشاركة في أي عمل عسكري ضد الجيش اللبناني، مشيراً إلى أنه لا يملك أدنى معرفة بكيفية حمل السلاح أو استخدامه، ولم يسبق له أن أطلق رصاصة واحدة.
حماية من القتل
من جانبه، عزز أحمد الأسير رواية شاكر، موضحاً أمام المحكمة أن الفنان اللبناني لم يمول مجموعته المسلحة نهائياً، وأنه لم يكن ليقبل منه أي دعم مالي أصلاً.
وكشف الأسير أن لجوء شاكر إليه كان بدافع الحماية الشخصية بعد تلقيه تهديدات بالقتل، مشيراً إلى أن منزل المطرب تعرض للحرق والسرقة آنذاك.
وفي ختام الجلسة، قررت المحكمة إرجاء المتابعة في القضية إلى تاريخ 24 مارس القادم.
The military court in Lebanon listened today (Thursday) in two separate sessions to both artist Fadl Shaker and Ahmad al-Assir, as part of the trials related to the "Aabra Events" that took place in Sidon in 2013.
I Did Not Fire a Bullet
During the session, the Lebanese artist reiterated his firm denial of participating in any military action against the Lebanese army, indicating that he has no knowledge of how to carry or use a weapon, and that he has never fired a single bullet.
Protection from Killing
For his part, Ahmad al-Assir reinforced Shaker's narrative, explaining before the court that the Lebanese artist did not fund his armed group at all, and that he would not have accepted any financial support from him in the first place.
Al-Assir revealed that Shaker's resort to him was motivated by personal protection after receiving death threats, noting that the singer's house had been subjected to arson and theft at that time.
At the end of the session, the court decided to postpone the proceedings in the case to March 24th.
