وكتب مصطفى كامل، منشوراً، عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك» قائلاً: «لا مكان لهذا الشخص بين أعضاء النقابة، تم إيقاف تصريحه ربع السنوي، وغداً سنعرض قرار شطبه على لجنة العمل، لقد وجهنا إليه العديد من التحذيرات والتنبيهات دون أي استجابة».

وأشار نقيب المهن الموسيقية إلى أن مسؤولية اعتماد كلمات الأغاني ومراجعتها تعود إلى وزارة الثقافة والإدارة العامة للرقابة على المصنفات الفنية، مؤكداً أن دور النقابة لا يشمل إجازة النصوص.
