تستضيف جمعية أدبي بمنطقة جازان، مساء الخميس القادم، 20 نوفمبر، الأديبة المترجمة السعودية نادية خوندنة؛ للحديث عن حكاية كتاب. وستسلط المترجمة خوندنة الضوء على كتابها المترجم باللغة الإنجليزية: الغرفة الخضراء وقصص أخرى ضمن الاهتمامات بالترجمة في ظل النقلة النوعية لأدبي جازان، وسيحاورها الشاعر المترجم رئيس جمعية أدبي بجازان حسن الصلهبي.
وقال المتحدث باسم أدبي بجازان محمد الرياني إن هذه الأمسية الأدبية النوعية ستطوف حول القصص الـ40 التي ضمتها المجموعة المترجمة لعدد من كتاب وكاتبات القصة في المملكة والغوص في أعماقها الإنسانية والاجتماعية والأدبية. وأضاف أن عددا من المهتمين بالأدب والسرد والترجمة سيكونون في هذه الأمسية النوعية، خصوصا ممن يهتم بالترجمة، علاوة على طلاب اللغة الإنجليزية في الجامعة وغيرهم من المهتمين بالترجمة والشغوفين بها.
يذكر أن هذا الإصدار تم توقيعه في معرض الرياض الدولي للكتاب 2025م وهو صادر عن دار «رامينا بوكس» في لندن، ويقع في 158 صفحة، ويحكي تجارب متنوعة لعدد من الكتاب البارزين، وقد صاحب القصص بعض اللوحات التشكيلية للقاصة والفنانة التشكيلية السعودية مريم الحسن.
The Literary Association in the Jazan region will host the Saudi translator and writer Nadia Khoundna next Thursday evening, November 20, to discuss the story of a book. Translator Khoundna will shed light on her translated book in English: The Green Room and Other Stories, as part of the interest in translation in light of the qualitative leap of the Literary Association in Jazan. She will be interviewed by the poet and translator, the head of the Literary Association in Jazan, Hassan Al-Sulhabi.
Spokesman for the Literary Association in Jazan, Mohammed Al-Riyani, stated that this qualitative literary evening will revolve around the 40 stories included in the translated collection from several male and female writers of short stories in the Kingdom, diving into their human, social, and literary depths. He added that a number of literature, narrative, and translation enthusiasts will be present at this special evening, especially those interested in translation, in addition to university English language students and others passionate about translation.
It is worth noting that this publication was signed at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 and is published by Rameena Books in London. It consists of 158 pages and narrates diverse experiences from several prominent writers, accompanied by some paintings by the Saudi short story writer and visual artist Maryam Al-Hassan.
